2008 Beijing Olympic Games


    This format is very different from DVD, it was not intended for back converting. I don't know how to do it. Maybe some blueray player could render it to TV. The better idea is to convert to AVI. I know, that jean-marc had success in that.

    there are many new DVD players that support H264 Mpeg4. this is the format LightMaster has recorded all matches.


    You can convert to DVD but the quality will be poor, the picture may be fuzzy and choppy not smooth and the audio may be out of sync. You will be disappointed.


    does you computer video card support TV out. This is the way I watch LightMaster's matches; I have my computer plugged into my large screen LCD TV.

    Does anyone have either the match between Italy and Brazil or the final? I couldn't watch either because I had to play beach volleyball this weekend, but I MUST see these matches :( Or I'll die crying... which would be sad.. sad indeed

    I only partially succeeded in recording the final. (due to broadcasters interrupting their live coverage). Anyway, here's what I have uploaded:

    Asia, I know that LightMaster has already uploaded Poland-Russia match, but it's with Russian commentary. Could you please upload it too after finishing Poland-Italy? Because you have all the matches from Polish tv. If it's not a problem of course.

    I cannot take credit for the USA vs Brazil final. I was advised that several of the Olympic Mens and Womens (I've also posted torrent links in the Womens Multimedia 2008 Olympics group) matches would be immediately available (and in some cases "live streaming") for downloading via torrents. I learned this method was much faster during the 2008 World League versus Megaupload. While both methods are free, torrent file is a single pass for a download versus multiple time limited passes for Mega. Torrent works for me.

    I just finished watching the USA-Brazil match downloaded from mininova but I dont like the way they cut it immediately after the last point from Stanley. I wanna see everything that happens after that, I've heard Stanley was getting emotional, damn I wanna see that one, very rare for him to get into that emotional level.


    I wanna see the USA celebrates and also the Brazilians lost glory. I wanna see Giba and Dante's faces after the game if they are still ok.

    this is just one version of the Mens Final. I noticed there are a few versions of the Finals uploaded on torrents. I think one reason many people are using torrents P2P is it is much faster to share than Megauploads ie. you have to wait to upload versus P2P you post a link and seed
