The 2010/2011 SCHENKER League – one of the most popular competitions in the Baltic area - started this past weekend with games being played in Latvia and Estonia. The SCHENKER league is being staged for the sixth time in Latvia, but has an even longer tradition in Estonia, with a total of 10 editions.
11 teams from Latvia, Estonia and Russia’s Kaliningrad Region are participating in this year’s campaign. Last year there were only Latvian and Estonian teams, but this season RGU-Yantar from Kaliningrad joined the competition as well.
