    Well, I don't know anything about this history and i was curious too... I know that UNILEVER did an offer to Goncha for this season (12-13) and not Sollys, 'cause they closed with Sheilla so fast, and her intention is continue at the club.

    The whole economics of Womens Vollyball in Russia is hard to comprehend. The little Western press I've read suggests Oil money props it up. Guess that's easy to say when neither the UK or the USA has a professional womens league.
    Do most Russian Players get one year rolling contracts? The Tanya Kosheleva goings on seemed to play to this. Not helped by the incestous relationship within Vollyball world where players are married to other players and/or coaches.
    Who looks after Tanya Kosheleva medical bills now and makes sure she gets the specialist medical attention she needs? Is her main medical problem undefined back issues? Her knee is fixed now right?

Some clubs in Brazil have a lot of money to pay high level players, for example Hooker, Tom, Vasileva and Pavan, and we can't forget our olympics, 'cause they earn a lot of money to stay in the country and Sheilla, for example, have one of the highest salary in volleyball world to play for Sollys ;)

    No, because players like Sheila gets salaries like Kozuch had last year in Sopot and could get a lot more if they played in Azeri, Turkey or Russia, 2-3 times more at least, but they choose not, why I dont know, you have to ask them I guess. So the fact that they can keep domestic players because they want to play in their own country is no reason they could take a player like Goncharova out of Russia.

    Among the players u mention, Vasileva and Pavan isnt even close to the salaries Goncharova wants. Hooker played in Brazil but she also leaved because she could get a whole lotta more money in Russia. Logan has her peak years behind her, had a terrible season in Fener with low percentage in both attack/reception so she could not have been 2 expensive.

    No they have not. It is around 3.500.000 euro...Gamova and Kosheleva earned like 1-1,5 million last year for ex. I dont know about Goncharova but its not so much less....if they would like to take her they would take 1/4 of their budget for the whole team just to pay her, which I doubt.
