Brazilian League 2012/2013

The game was ok for Unilever, but still we are presenting so much ups and downs...

Anyway, it was really hot inside the gym, maybe the girls were not with that much disposition cause of that..hehehe, It has actually made really hot days this past week in Rio...last friday the temperatura sensation was 44ºC! And today was really hot also...specially inside Tijuca! Logan Tom for sure spent some of her rest time at the beach..she is with a big tan! So Unilever did enough. But our block is definitely something we need to improve to face teams like SESI and Osasco.

At least next match home will be in Maracanazinho, that has air conditioner..hehehehe

Sarah Pavan will be the interviewed this weekend in Tie-Break Unilever

Unilever just won against São Bernardo in straight sets.

The team started really well...specially in service, after a easy win in first set, they just completely lost focus and began making so many mistakes!!!! But still was enough to win.

In third set Bernaridnho started with Gabi and Mara in place of Natália and Valeskinha. Gabi started with few mistakes, but enter the game at the end of it.
The referee almost gave third set to São Bernardo, Fabi did a defense that he said it felt in the floor (which clearly didnt...Im saying clearly, cause It was not that case of a player standing their hand in the floor, no, it was a defense like a reception!!!) Of course Bernaridnho went crazy, so referee decided to give him yelllow card (right away, without even a warning or anything) So São Bernardo got to make 17x13 in third set...but that seemed to wake Unilever girls, and the team just turned around after that making 19x17! So they just administrated at the end.

Pavan was our biggest scorer with 15 points and I think our best in the game, but Fabi received the MVP award. It was nice cause she dedicated the award to Amanda, cause Amanda just graduated from University this Tuesday! And that is something quite rare in brazil, for an athlethe to actually conclude their studies. So congrats Amanda!
