    Irvine's coach left to coach at UCLA this season. Irvine has had a good year, but their season is not finished yet. But only 4 teams make the tournament, so if you don't play well, you do not have a chance.

    UC-Irvine wins back-to-back Championships, 4th Championship (2007, 2009, 2012, 2013)
    Taylor Sander (BYU 21 points, Scott Kervorken (Irvine) 14 points
    Irvine dominates BYU at the net with 16 blocks to 6.


    First set, BYU gets out to a 3 point lead (10-7), then Irvine goes on a 10-4 run to lead by three (17-14), BYU ties it at 18-18, an error by BYU at 23-23 gives Irvine a break and then a kill to win the 1st set.
    Irvine was down 11-4 in the 2nd set, comes back with a 10-2 run to take the lead (14-13), still was close until 20-20, but Irvine got a 2-point which it held to win the 2nd.
    BYU had 3 set points in the 3rd set (24-21), but Irvine scores 5 straight to win.


    Connor Hughes (Irvine) was the Most Outstanding Player of the Tournament.
