    Next game 17/04

  • Panathinaikos won the greek championship.

They made a great come back after 0-2 series of finals and won the 5th final at home of Olympiakos.

    5th match:2-3(24-26,25-21,25-21,18-25,8-15)

    Olympiakos:All.Micelli,

    Kubura 23(22/63),Mlejnkova 16(16/51),Fariol 12(7/14,5blocks),Nizetich 8(8/27) Cararo 3(3/4)/Artakianou(100%,67%perf.)-

    Panathinaikos:All.Nesic Dragan,

    Carcases 29(25/54,1ace,3blocks),Atkinson 20(18/49,2blocks),Samadan 14(11/21,1 ace,2 blocks),Grothues 11(11/31,67%, pos.rec),Chatziefstratiadou 7(4/9,3 blocks),Papafotiou 4(2/7,2 blocks)/Belià(51%,29%perf.)

Mvp of the greek championship 23/24: Sheridan Atkinson.

Carcases finally, played her best match of the whole season. The libero of Panathinaikos Belià played splendid finals.Imo was the key of success. And think about she was the 2nd libero of the team.

For Olympiakos who chocked up after winning the first 2 finals, their main opposite Kubura was underperforming.Mlejnkova was their best player and Nizetich suffered of a foot trauma.

Until now is sure Carcases will not renew and Mlejnkova is going to Pinerolo.

PS.Paradoxically Panathinaikos has changed coach in the last 3 championships, before the playoffs, and has won all of them :what:.
