I would like to know if anybody has video of Bergamo, Perugia or Reggio di Calabria when cubans where playing there between 1997 and 2000...
Torres, Luis, Fernandez, Ruiz, Bell, Costa were all playing in italian teams.

I am also searching some matches of champion's league between 1998 and 2002 with great teams (final 4).

My dream team would be :
Setters : Salinas, Takeshita
Middle : Ravva, Bown, Carrillo
Hitters : Kilic, Grun, Glinka, Lehtonen, Yaneva, Ruiz
Libero : Sano
Cannes did not play well in Zurich tournament... but without playing well they reach to win 2 sets against kalisz and other 2 sets against Volero (who have a really strong team this year...).
Everything depend in cannes. They have talented players, but still young... they have up and down. If the team play well they can beat everybody I think.
With Fomina, Rybaczewski and Yaneva cannes have a good receive. Ravva is better than the middle players of Eczaci, Filipova is really good in blocking, but not very used in attack. Yaneva and Centoni can be as good as Haneef and Metcalf. The only advantage for Eczacibasi is the setter... Agca don't fit to cannes' game.
On the paper Eczaci may have better team with a lot of talented players... but if yaneva is on a good day cannes can win 
Of course it will be difficult for cannes to win in turkya...but it's difficult for all the teams... (Murcia can tell!)
Who is playing as opposite hitter, Djerisilo or Tocko? And how is Volero's reception formation? I think neither of those two is a good receiver?
In the last champions league matches Tocko was playing as outside hitter and Djerisilo as opposite.
According to the statistics Tocko did a pretty good job in reception.
I don't know how their are playing in this tournament, but I think Spasojevic+Tocko+libero is right now the best reception formation for volero.

Tocko was up and downs....but did a good game!!!
Fang recieved a red card because he was complaining a lot with the judges!!!!Maybe was to much from the first judge...could only gave him a yellow card.....but I can't say exacly what did Fang said to them!!!!!
The girl that cried was RYBACZEWSKI....I actually don't know why she was crying...but I think must had been the coach....cause she didn't get injuried or anyhting....
Well....I'll put the game here...and any one make your own conclusions...cause I didn't watch much of Cannes to analize the situation the best way....

Great game of Djerisilo and Spasojevic for Zurich....and the coach of Cannes recived a red card on the fourth set!!! He is kind of crazy....but I think the players are already used to it...although one of girls of Cannes cried during the match!!!!

Why Yan Fang receive a red card?
Yes he is always like that... always puting a lot of pressure on his players, he always want his players to give the best of themselves...even if the match is not important. It's his way of coaching... but I think he is great, one of the best I think. He is the one who permit Ravva to be as good...
Who cried for cannes?
Easy victory of RC Cannes over Pila...
Cannes played much better than last week. They served and receive very well and pila could not play their game. When the Cannoises play their game it's difficult for a team like pila to folow.
I agree that Pila could have done better on some moment of the game. They could have profit the fact that cannes was under presure for this game... because if they lost they will be out of champions league. But they manage to play in order to win.

In cannes' side Agca play great for one of the first time. Ravva everywhere. Centoni seems to find back her level... she plays better and better with cannes.
Maybe if you knew which players play there, it wouldn't be such a surprise for you. There are some tallented young and good experienced girls in this team: Kaczorowska, Bednarek, Skorupa, Kosmatka. They all play (or played) in Polish NT, maybe not as main persons, but they do.
Piła was even in Champions League Final Four couple of years, but as a host.
When pila organised the final 4 in 2003 pila was not playing... it was before they decided that the final 4 host is directly qualify for the final 4.
In the final 4 in pila were playing Modena, Bergamo, Ekaterinburg and Cannes.
Yes Pila has a good team, but Cannes can easily beat them next week... well I hope so!
As I said, when they won twice the champion's league in 2002 and 2003 cannes play against pila and always loose in poland... but in cannes always win very easily...
In this match cannes make mistakes really strange and Agca was not good. Pila played really really good in defense, and in spike they had some lucky points. They were playing at 150% and I am sure that playing like this they can win a lot of matches in this champions league.
Great victory for Pila over Cannes.
But everytime that cannes play in pila they loose and at home they win (like in 2002 and 2003) so I am not worried for cannes in this champions league. I am sure that cannes will win against Jesi and Pila at home
Again a big match from Ravva with 27 points... Yaneva and Centoni scored a lot too. The big problem for Cannes is Rybaczewski who is really bad in spiking, she is very often bloked.

I was not expecting a victory from DELA Martinus AMSTELVEEN over Dinamo MOSCOW. This champion's league is going to be very exciting!

In the other match Cannes win easily against Rijeka. Cannes is playing well and had a much better team than last year. They had great setters with Agca and Dong. Yaneva, Ravva and Rybazewski are playing well. The young Bulgarian spiker was unstopable. I am waiting to see more of the new libero Ino.
Firebrands, do you have others matches with Cuba or Russia?

It's not official but I think she will not play with france anymore... Maybe exept if they had a chace to plays the qualification for the olympics :wink2:
She don't want to play with the the french team in ankara because she needs rest and she wants to be at 100% for RC Cannes. She wants to have a good season with her team.
The 5th, 6th and 7th playround are postponed to january and febrary because of world cup and the diferent european tournament for the olympic qualification.
A lot of team will loose players for this reason so the federation decide to postponed this games.
Cannes for example will loose 5 players (Agca, Yaneva, Filipova, Rybaczewski and Turiaf) and it's hard to compete with the half team missing.
Strange, all this 4 players (Ivana Djerisilo, Anja Spasojevic, Natasa Krsmanovic and Sladjana Eric) are from the same club, Volero Zurich...
I don't understand why these players are not going to the world cup. They said that they went to play in an easier league in order to prepare seriously and help their national team to qualify for the olympics games. This WC is a big chance for them to qualify.
I was wondering how Jaqueline and Marisa Fernandez will behave playing together in the same team after what happened last year between the two players in champions league match Las Palmas / Jesi.
Murcia signed two new players, Sofia Arimattei and Viviane Saores in order to replace Glinka and Walewska during world cup.
Maybe There is something else, maybe before the semi-final something happens that you dosen't know.
And I think, even if it's a joke from Picci, it's never great to ear something like that. In place of gamova I could have take it bad i think...
