RC Cannes signed Anna Rybaczewski (receiver/spiker), Akiko Ino (libero) and Nadia Centoni (opposite).
It seems that cannes just need to signed 2 setters to finish he team for next year.
For now the team is :
Ravva, Lozancic, Filipova S, Yaneva, Fomina, Zhang, Rybaczewski, Turiaf, Centoni, Ino.

Ravva is recovering very fast.
She gave birth to twins just 3 month ago so she has still some kilos to loose. but she play better and better and the team is being more confident with her.
I don't know if she will play all match against Kaliz, but she will certainly play some points like past week, and if cannes reach the second round of play off she will probably play more than some points. Having Ravva on court, even if she is only at 50%, is really important for the team and all the young players like Lozancic, Tocko, Yaneva and Yakovlyeva.

Cannes wins his first match of play off against Kaliz 3-0 25/23 25/22 25/19.
They just need a set to qualify for next round. But it will be difficult because Kaliz played bad tonight, and it will be an other match in poland.
By the way, Ravva make her comeback during this game, she plays only few points at the end of each set. She is really far from her best level but with her return, the team seems more confident.

Yes the team is still on top on the french league, but with a young team, maybe it will may be more difficult on the play off. Last year, with a rc cannes' team stronger than this year (Salinas, Glinka, Florentino, Sano, Ljungquist) cannes has big difficulties on the final against La Rochette.
So let see what happen...
For cannes it's important to be the best team on the french league in order to be sure to qualify for the champion's league every year.

Well I am really exciting about some match like tenerife/pesaro and of course CANNES / KALIZ!
I really don't understand the CEV.
On the "champion's leagues rules" they said that no more than one team per country could reach the final 4... and with these play off 2 italien team and the two spanish team can reach it.
The winner of cannes / kaliz will meet the winer of Pesaro / tenerife on the second round of the play off.
The winner of moscou / las palmas will meet the winer of DELA Martinus AMSTELVEEN / Eczacibasi ISTANBUL .
And the winner of Bergamo / Baku will meet the winner of Jesi / Vakifbank istanbul.
Cannes played a very good match against the polish team. With the win of istanbul over moscou they had to win 3/0 in order to reach the second place of the pool... and they did!
Yaneva and Tocko were the best scorer for cannes with 19 pts each. If they keep playing this way on the play off matches they can beat strong teams.

So the ranking of the first leg is not important for the play off match coz 2 first team like bergamo and Jesi can meet in first rounf of play off.
