    CAI TERUEL - ZAKSA KĘDZIERZYN-KOŹLE 1:3 (22:25, 16:25, 28:26, 24:26)

After two first sets it seemed it would be a piece of cake for ZAKSA, but than Polish team lost its concentrations and the game turned into a real fight... :whistling:

I agree with Wielki Znawca Pierwszy more... It is not only Wlazły who had or has some problems with PZPS, and he is not the only guy who use to have injuries - he is not exceptional, but he behaves like this and he is the one, who doesn't want to play in NT. I don't judge him, but his statement didn't change my mind in all the aspects of that case.index.php?page=User&userID=534

Skra beat Budvanska Rivijera Budva 3:0. The beginning of the match had been terrible by Skra, but after that Skra started to play much better and the game looked like some training. However, Skra isn't in the best shape, which is noticeable also in PlusLiga.

    Halkbank Ankara - AZS Częstochowa 3:0 (25:16, 25:21, 25:21) X(

    Lausanne UC - Resovia Rzeszów 2:3 (22:25, 18:25, 25:21, 25:20, 11:15)

I'm glad, that Resovia won, although it lookes like the game in Switzerland wasn't a piece of cake for Polish team. I hope the 2nd leg will be easier for Resovia.

AZS Częstochowa... Well, as I see they want to be eliminated on the early stage of the competition again. Last year they lost to team from Israel and this time they lost the 1st leg in Turkey in straight sets and very easily. Of course, there is also the revange, but I don't think AZS will make it.

ZAKSA Kędzierzyn Koźle beat Partizan Beograd 3:1.
Not a very impressive game by Polish side, but such games are often difficult. Especially when you are back to the competition after some years as ZAKSA is.

Jastrzębie fought only in the first set - all the others were clearly for Trentino. No one could have had any doubts which team was better on friday. And which is generally better. It is not a chance, that Trentino won this title 3rd time in the row - they are just great team and proved it once again.
However, I'm glad with Jastrzebski's performance. They achieved a lot in this tournament, if we consider, that they are completely new team and all the players who are in the team didn't have time to play much together. If Jastrzębie keeps on playing like that also in PlusLiga, this team may come back to the European cups in the next season.

and Czechostowa is pronounced Czenstochowa :white:

Not exactly. It is CZĘSTOCHOWA, which is pronounced CHENSTOKHOVA in English transcription. :)

About Jastrzębie-SESI game. It was big game by Polish team and the final is a great achievement for Jastrzębie. They have already beaten Zenit Kazan and the half of the Brazilian NT playing in Sesi Sao Paulo  Block worked perfectly for Jastrzębie, Holmes, Łasko and Bartman were on fire and that's why Jastrzębie won.
Too bad, that Jastrzębie won't play in European Cups this year. But they had so terrible season in PlusLiga last year,,,
It is rather Trentiono, which is favorite in the final and itmight be extremely difficult game for Jastrzębie, but I hope they will do their best. Łasko and Bernardi have something to prove their Italian mates :super:
BTW - I have never seen such a happy Bernardi before like he was after the end of the game yesterday. He usually doesn't show too many positive emotions during the match

Big congratulations for Radwańska. Big success. I'm very happy - this girl has been starting to become a real tennis star. At last her tallent has been shining as a pure gold.
