I just wonder why Adenizia, Juciely didn't ever have the chance to play before?..exactly cause when we have the main team they don't receive a chance, no matter the tournament that is, like now the other in bench don't receive chances, I think that is vicious habit from Brasil teams. If Fabiana, Thaisa, Sheilla didn't have asked a year free, that would still be going...and I think again, in my opinion, is a mistake. Alassio will sharpen for what? I honestly don't believe that this tournament makes a difference in preparation.

And the point is, this tournaments are exactly to make the players improve...Camila and Daroit should not need Garay to play well....of course with Garay Brazil is more balanced...but these are the tournaments they should use to improve their game in that too. I think.

I understand some of the points you make, like the developing of the game of this starting team...but I still think these small tournaments are the ones to give experience and chances to different players, or they will never have the chance to have that. but again, this is of course just my opinion. It is just that Brazil has some many good players, but rarely they have a chance to receive such opportunity to play.

Joana, sorry but you are wrong. Brazil is a relatively young team. There isn't an urgency in testing new players. On the other hand, teams like Italy and Russia NEED to test because they were old teams in London 2012 games, so renewing their squad is a necessity more than anything else.

Also, we had Angelica and Bia's injuries. If it weren't for that, Juciely wouldn't be called.

    Awards:

    Best Scorer: Zhu Ting
    Best Spiker: Miyu Nagaoka
    Best Blocker: Irina Zaryazhko
    Best Server: Daria Isaeva
    Best Setter: Danielle Lins
    Best Libero: Wang Mengjie
    Best Reciever: Monica de Gennaro
    MVP: Fernanda Garay

I don't think we'll see Matienko in really important tournaments. Startseva and Uraleva don't play this summer because of injuries, but I expect Akulova to join the team soon. Pankova is doing really well though!

Come on Russia, don't let Brazil win this tournament without losing even one set! Their arrogance would rise to unknown heights

Yeah sure, we are so full of ourselves

No it wouldnt...because I have something call values..

You can talk and protest some balls...of course..like I said, referees do makes a lot of mistakes..and that annoys any player...but all the matches...when you ask a ball for you and it is not yours and you know it is not...that is not fair play (the word self explains).

Yeah right, I truly believe in you,a Bernardo lover, who is a coach which complains in EVERY single game!! Really, why people get so annoyed about Brazillian team complainning about points? So, the thing is "let´s keep quiet, because we can be unpolite for the others"?

Even if its serious...dont need to complain about EVERYTHING! Must have fair play.

I mean, of course referees makes mistakes..sometimes a lot. And that annoys players..but EVERYTIME? All game is the same with Brazil...the complain when they are right AND when they are wrong...that is as annoying as referees mistakes.

Sorry, but I think any team love winning tournaments, even tought they are just friendly! And when complainning about referee mistakes is a no-fair-play? If it were your beloved Italians, your reaction and speech would be sure different :wall: :wall: :wall:

Brazillian team is almost defined for JWCH. There´s only one cut left (libero), but the team is like this:

Setters: Naiane (1,80) and Giovanna (1,76)
    Líbero: Juliana and Dani Terra
OH: Gabi (1,80), Rosa (1,85), Maíra (1,85) and Paula Mohr (1,87)
OPP: Sara Dias (1,88 cm) and Domingas (1,82)
MB: Valquíria (1,91), Milka (1,90) and Simone (1,86)

it's good to see cate play in brazil because after we'll see if she really will be the phenom everyone likes to always mention

And we can see the battle (in a good way, of course) between Gabi (Uni) x Bosseti (Sollys)! Two of the most promissing players for their respective NT playing one against other! Will be interesting for sure! :D :D :D

Brazil won 3x2 against Porto Rico! Gongrats to the girls! Laís (libero) got the MVP, best digger and libero. Laiza got the best blocker award! Even tough, I´m not really satisfied with the work that has been made at the youth category. Too many short players with no projection for the Adult team whreas players like Amanda (1,89), Marina (1,92) and Karol (1,87) benching... from the ones who where playing this final match, only Drussyla (the go-to hitter) and Lais are really promissing...

So Serbia and Brazil played two friendly games, in first match Brazil won 3-2 and in second Serbia won 3-2

Boskovic :obey: She is 3 years younger than her teammates. I personaly would like to see starting line up with Mirkovic-Boskovic, Trnic-Popovic, Busa-Cikiriz. I can only imagine our attack with this line up :cheesy: Every girl in this line up is great attacker, only Popovic is something weaker but she is very important for our block. I don't see any advantage that Lukic has over Cikiriz. Cikiriz played the whole season as OH. Lukic is nothing better than her in reception and Cikiriz is way match better than her in attacking, blocking.

Wow thanks a lot Sheilla   The matches were very equal, for sure, showing that both teams are strong contenders for JWCH title! Brazil is still missing Gabi Guimarães, but even without her we´re strong!
