Yes, Pila is playing the poorest volleyball from what I saw so far, but they still won the 2nd set. Bamber came in at the end.
And Niemczyk's commentary is so funny.

Any stream for today's match? Can't wait for Bamber's and Horka's return on court.
This one should work.

Big win for USA! Fantastic game by Hill. She is like the female version of Mika. Congratulations. But I am also impressed of Lang Ping and the way she changed the style of playing of her team in the third set.
Who's gonna be the MVP? Hill? Glass?
Dorota Medyńska will be out for the most of the season.
Damaske MVP of the first game !
She substituted McClendon in the first set and stayed until the end, very good reception by her.
Ostrowiec Swietokrzyski - Sopot 0:3 (26:28; 22:25; 17:25)
Pasynkova is unjured
One more injury during this tournament. Is it serious? She could be really useful today as replacement for Shcherban, it seems like Kosianenko doesn't trust her anymore after 1st set.
Great game by Jaque! I can't believe she is without club.
What a comeback by Russia. Obmochaeva at the end. I didn't expect her to be able to play like this on this WCH after her "shape" during the WGP. 1:1!
Gamova on serve
Weak performance by Shcherban... Why is Pasynkova out ?!
I don't remember Krsmanovic making any point, why didn't Terzic let Veljkovic come in for a longer distance?!
Good game by the USA. They had a much better reception, only Hill was a little bit shaky. And Glass...
According to this interview Kinga Bak is going to play in Cyprus this season.
It must be Silie it would be great to see her in Poland if I remember correctly she got married with a Pole...
Thank you! That means that on setter postion there's going to be a hard competition. Gryka is allowed to play in the Young League at least.
Did Silie played only as setter in the past or also setter/opposite for example?
It seems like there would be one more foreign player in Impel, but I don't know who she is, I can't recognize her. Maybe someone of you has more information?
She's in this video. At least she's training with the team: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=07bFk7e4LdM
As far as I remember Skowronska played surprislingly well as OH. And she is just another type of player than Havelkova or Brakocevic, she needs faster balls then this two. She's not a big killer, but she showed a lot of times that she is able to score as many points as the "big" OPP's and is very experienced. And together with Tomkom this should work. So get down from her.
Uff, 2nd set for Poland. But Bełcik plays simlply awful.
And we can perfectly see that Skowrońska spent a lot of time at the beach Her skin and her blonde hair make a nice contrast.
The difference between Wołosz and Bełcik is really huge unfortunetly.
Luckily Poland won 1st set thanks to Kaczorowska's good serve.

Poland will play without Wołosz next weekend the same. Kajzer will replace her.
EDIT: First set for Poland (25:22) after a shaky game.
Playing CL will help for sure. Canada gave up. I wished to watch Richey + Marcelle + Love (as right side hitter) together. Zaroslinska and Kakolewska are the best players so far. Polec looks pretty hot today. It seems like she lost weight. Probably I'm wrong...
I think Agnieszka did everything right so far. She was playing in starting six in the NT even before she played in Orlen Liga. The first season she spent in Impel, where she played the whole season long in starting six, won the silver medal, was trained by Aleksandersen and became the best blocker of Orlen Liga. I don't remember any other player who can tell the same about herself.
Wójcik played a very nice game again, espacially in term of spike, another good talent, I really like her attitude on court! Together with Grejman it could be a very nice duo, I just hope that Aleksandersen will work hard with her and give her lot of chances to play.
And congratulations to the Polish girls, but they have to work on their concentration, because the happenings of the 2nd set weren't necessary.
The last block by Kąkolewska
Display MoreLet me predict starters for each team.
Poland
Wolosz-Zaroslinska
Kakolewska-Tokarska
Kowalinska-Kaczorowska
Durajczyk
Hopefully Wolosz plays as good as she played in the Serie final.
Kowalińska and Skowrońska won"t play this weekend, they are just training with the team so far. Kaczorowska and Wójcik will start imo.
