weaker passer? I think Larson/Kim/Meliha are probably the best you can get for passing. The weak links are the MB and setter.

For the first 2 sets, Zhu received over 60% (20/32) of the serves of the whole team, and she does a decent job with 45% excellence and 60% positivity. Hopefully she can maintain that.

All the outside hitters of Vakif are doing great so far, Zhu, Robinson and Sloetjes. Kubra had some good kills too.

Being a Coach is a quite demanding job, so probably many of these big names won't be doing it.

Good point. The only exception I can think of is Bernardinho, he coached Brazil's women's team first, and then men's team. Opposite of Zé Roberto.

Mostly women can not even receive, and this alone tells you how much tactical and technique involves their game...while on the men`s side bad reception is not even a thing as everyone can receive......in fact the most beautiful thing in men`s volleyball is reception.

If what u r saying it is true.... Japan and Thailand would win all the time......they are tactical and have the best technique...but of course that`s not enough as they simply lack height and power to compete.

Some of the best ever male players are actually very "small"....Giba and Murilo the 2 best examples. And there`s a lot of "small" guys out there doing well...Negapeth, Uros, Ivovic and so so many others.

Those two sets they won will not be valid if the match is not over. If you want to rest your starters, you can play the bench players. And these professional players are not that fragile, if they are afraid of getting injured for playing 15 more points, they should not play at all. It is professionalism, and the audience(in the stadium or online) also payed to watch the whole MATCH.

Malinov isn't much better honestly. Wolosz is the only decent setter out of all setters who played these last two matches.

Liu is a good attacker but she is really unstable in reception. But she will always be a staple for the national team.

Li ying ying is a good attacker as well but she is worse than Liu in reception and defense.

If only Zeng chunlei is younger she could play as defensive OH with Zu as offensive OH and Li yingying as OPP. That wouod be a formidable team.

They haven't announced it yet. Last year they announced it months after the last game. It was ridiculous.

Even though Li is left handed, her attacking at 4 is much better than at 2, and I think it is too late for her to change to OPP. Hopefully Zhang will recover to her level in Rio and Li can get better in reception and defence.
