She's inconsistent yes. And she had the same problems in U19 but she also had some good performances. Some believe that she should be a non-receiving OH cuz her spiking ability in 4. But her defense and passing are just abysmal whereas she's a good lateral blocker and server.
I think she should be given the opp as a starter in whatever team and then draw conclusions

I wouldn't call it normal and it shouldn't be. A sub's role is to be able to contribute to the scoring in any way. Especially as someone whose priority is offense and doesn't have to worry about defense. That's just disappointing.

There was a debate in the past on who Japan's ultimate MB of all time is, her or Araki. Personally I would choose Omura. She's a Hisamitsu OG but I don't think Miyu was already in Hisamitsu when she was still active

It's fine for Nagaoka to retire she's been through enough. Her goal should be to end the season in good condition and win with Hisamitsu. When Ishii released a book or magazine? she said she wants to stick around for a little longer with Hisamitsu.
The 2 girls I would like to see get called are Valdes and Yoshino Nishikawa. Toe has been doing well since the last time she was in the NT. She's certainly a better option now than Yamagishi and personally I think she is a lot better than Fukudome.
Valdes should be at the top of the list for OPPs but the question of whether Manabe will call someone who isn't Japanese by blood still remains
