I don'T understand why Ebrar is not playing as full time starter. She will clearly be the starting players during OG. She is still young and needs as much as experience she can get before OG. It is not like Meryem can get any better by playing some VNL matches. On the other hand, I don't like that Eda is playing almost full time while all the rest are rotating. We indeed need to test some of them as MB1 to see how they can perform in the absence of Eda. I would have played with Aslı-Kübra-Ebrar as starter for the rest of the league and maybe replace Zehra and Eda during final 4.

OH position is good to rotate often but as long as Guidetti won't include Derya and Ilkin, we shouldn't expect miracles

Not only for cultural and historical reasons. Its bcz geography. Not bcz they want to :rolll:

You dont need to have your whole country in continent. Even some part of Kazakhstan considered in European Continent.

    No idea for Isreal tho

Israel's reason is purely political. Many Asian countries refuse to make official matches against Israel due to political tension between Israel and Muslim countries

    right i see, forgot that.

but still, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia are part of Asia.

Although there are divisions between Europe and Asia dating back as far as ancient Greece, the modern Europe-Asia border was first established in 1725 by a German explorer named Philip Johan von Strahlenberg. Von Strahlenberg chose the Ural Mountains in western Russia as the hypothetical dividing line between the continents. This mountain range stretches from the Arctic Ocean in the north to the Caspian Sea in the south. If you use the invisible line of the Ural Mountains and continue it south into the Caspian Sea, then the nations of the southern Caucasus lie within Europe.

The Caucasus Mountains are a division between Eastern Europe and Western Asia. Armenia, Azerbaijan, and Georgia are partially within this mountain range. Both Armenians and Georgians are old Christian nations and they are considered European for cultural and historical reasons. Georgia has both territories in Europe (65%) and in Asia (35%) as Russia, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, and Turkey

Anyways, Europe’s boundaries are somewhat arbitrary and evolve over time. For centuries, Malta was thought to be an island of Africa, but now it is considered part of Europe and is a member of the EU.

Russia has never gotten a decent libero in decade.

Come on! Malova was one of the best European liberos for a long time while she was in her pick!

I dont know this guy  Apparently he played in Fenerbahçe and bunch of other good teams. He is old tho. Cizre seems very old so far

He played in FB and he was pretty good then. I understand that Cizre is basically overpaying players to convince them to come to that city, which is sad. So far only old players accept offers as retirement plans. I think it is important to have teams from underdevelopped cities. I hope they can manage to stay in the league.

Why do you think THY is not strong in the middle attack? I think Aslı can be considered as a strong attacker MB and she showed solid performance this season. I think Dobriana will be on the bench mostly except CL. The key for THY's success was the unexpectedly solid performance of Madison, especially in the late part of the season, if she can show the same level they will be as competitive as this season, assuming that van Ryk won't flop.

I think Nilüfer will get a foreign OH, they can't play with Humay&Mislina duo. Their second MB also is not good for this level, so I expect an addition there too.

I am not happy with Aydın's Nicoletti as well but I don't think their MBs are like a joke. Emine Arıcı performed surprisingly well since she was transferred and I know Ergül is not your favourite player but she is still useful for mid-level teams and Aydın might get a foreign MB anyways since their OHs seem to be complete

I like GS's transfers in general, they made transfers for the problematic positions and kept key players like Gizem G. and Ilkin. If Sasa would play as good as she did a few years ago in Turkey, that would be a big upgrade for them but their second MB is still a big question mark.

PTT and Kuzeyboru made very good transfer moves, both have balanced rosters. Kuzeyboru's biggest issue was opp and second MB. They transferred one of the best available option in the market for Opp position and their second MB is also upgraded. On the other hand, PTT's position will rely on Helene's performance. If she can show same performance of her last season in Turkey, PTT can compete for 6th position.

Mert grup's transfers were not that great, they will probably end up 10th right after Nilüfer

Yeşilyurt, Sarıyer, Bolu, Karayolları are the candidates for relegations unless they make good foreign transfers

    The teams missing foreigners:

    1.Vakıfbank Complete

    2.Fenerbahçe Complete

    3.THY Complete

    4.Eczacıbaşı Complete
5.Nilüfer Belediyespor Missing one, probably an OH?

6.Aydın BBSK Missing one, probably an OH? I hope they would get an MB since I want Ezgi to play as the starter finally!

    7.Galatasaray HDI Sigorta Complete

    8.Yeşilyurt probably 2 OHs and 1 MB

    9.PTT Spor Complete

10.Karayolları No foreigners so far, they might go all local this season but I don't think they can repeat the same success of last season. Havili and Geraysmova were a big factor.

11.Kuzeyboru Complete (indeed too many foreigners for a team that doesn't play in any European cup)

12.Sarıyer Belediyespor Missiong one, probably an MB?

    13.Mert Grup Sigorta Complete

14.Bolu Belediyespor Missing two, probably one MB and one OH

I don't think we need to play with Zehra yet, I still wanna see both Kübra and Aslı playing at the same time on court. These two are the ones that require decision for OG roster (indeed it should be directly Aslı according to loyalty argument of Guidetti:whistle:)

I don't think Yiğit and burak did a bad job in Arkas, they are both good receivers. Burak was quite a good attacker too despite his height. I think he is still far from his pre-injury shape. However, I agree that Nedim should give more chance to Efe MAndıracı, clearly both Efe's are the future of Turkey with Adis, Ahmet Tümer and Bedirhan
