Thanks for the stats.. IMO Rosso has to get a chance in NT... she has proven she can score and she is a good passer of course so I see no reason not to see her in NT..
Logan my Logan 16 points straight away.. I am searching for photos, if anyone find please post it here
Display MoreI will clarify some things for you to run out some stupid rumors before very important matches as Final FOUR
Tomkom NOOSTARA and Katarzyna SKORUPA extended their contract with Rabita BAKU for 2 more seasons, So the clubs can forget about them
At least for now they can also forget about Castillo too for very long period.
Foluke AKINRADEWO will play for Rabita BAKU next year too.
Wilma SALAS ROSELL, Yoana PALACIO, Gyselle CARIDAD da SYLVA and Rosanna GIEL has valid contracts with Rabita BAKU for 5 years.
Tori Dixon, Gina MANCUSO, Cursty JACKSON, Kayla BANWARTH and Brittnee COOPER as well as Rachel ROURKE, Dora HORVATH have 3 years contract with Rabita BAKU.
And that is not all ...
And Rabita has the best MB of all clubs - Akinradewo - Giel will rock Also having Sylva and Dixon is a big advantage they are very good MB and Sylva can play other positions as she has as an OH... If Rabita doesn't renew with Cruz I see some passing problems, so I hope they find another passing OH... maybe Logan and I will have a heart attack from so many great and my favorite players in 1 club..
I'll look for them! I remember Novara used to post some reports and stats from pre-season friendly games, so maybe they'll do the same here. Maybe Ornavasso's website will post some news. I think there will be some buzz around the team right now (not so big as it was back in Rio, but still...), so I think we won't be left in the dark
I'll be looking forward to it
Display MoreYou never know how it is with Logan until she actually does something. I do hope that signing a contract (in the last possible moment) is a sign of her coming back to the NT. Would she decided to play in a team while retiring? I don't know. I don't think so, but then again, everything is possible.
Meanwhile...
And she has already took part in official friendly game against Novara.
So sweet.. Can you find any stats?
You and me both. I'm actually grinning like an idiot now
I am happy she is back I am just not sure what is this decision leading to:
Option 1: getting back in shape for USA NT and WCH 2014, while still studying
or Option 2: announcing her retirement so she doesn't mind to train and play a few games while she studies there..
Hope it's not no. 2
Display MoreIt's official - Logan will play in Ornavasso.
No 15 for her?
I am gonna have a heart attack.. I am gonna see lLogan on court again!!!
agree...though i think Alisha could play better than that.
I haven't seen this game, but Alsha is one of the best setters out there.. maybe because of her wrong choice of teams the last few years we haven't seen her playing a great club season and we all know about this summer's new USA system, but she certainly is a great setter. What do you expect her to do when she plays only in CEV cup matches, that's too little... she doesn't have the right connection a setter should have with their hitters.. Fb has 3 setters and I'm sure in practice Nilay has to set because she is the sub in TL after all..Alisha has been injured too
Turkish and Azeri (Russian) League have many stars, but only a few fans in the gym
Italian and Polish League have no big stars, but many fans in the gym
I enjoy Italian league too! I wanted to say this few days ago.. although it does not have the best players in the world it certainly has gives us good matches.. I mean Modena, Bergamo, Piacenza, Conegliano and Busto are all good teams and their levels are not that far apart.. only maybe Piacenza but we've seen them lose too.. Also Italian league still has some starts.. I mean Picci, Bosetti, Cardullo, Meijners, Arighetti, Barazza, Gibby, Llloyd , Nikolova etc.. they are all very good and well known players world-wide.... I Turkey there are also 4 great teams the others are a few levels lower.. Of course those top 4 are better then these top 4 but I think the difference is not that big.. We've seen in CL how Conegliano performed, we've seen how Piacenza did... And as for Russia I don't find that league neither interesting nor full with stars.. I love some Russians like Obmochaeva and Morozova but I think the matches are not interesting
Talking about Lucia I would love to see her in Turkey! She is a real gem.. Players like her are not easy to find these taday so she should be playing in a top club both CL and a strong domestic league... She's bot only a great passer but she attacks very well so she'll be so useful for Galatasaray for ex.
On Yoana Palacio's instagram profile there are photos of her together with Salas and Gyselle Silva all in Rabita or Telekom jackets.. I can't tell because the logo is the same but she also has many photos with some Telekom players so I guess the train with them.. It will be good the see them playing in Azerbaijan although I think Salas is very young and has a great potential which should be used so she should be trained properly and can turn into a great attacking OH.. I am already excited to see Santos play... I hope to see her in a bigger club.. She is a very agressive hitter and server.. she can pass too..
I don't think MB are the problem. I mean of course you're right they are not great anymore, BUT she's not only not setting them, she not setting overhead she not setting to zone 1 when Kristin is backrow.. She uses pipe only with Tandara and rarely with Natalia... you can't win playing like a Russian in Brazilian league... the other hitters get too little balls
I agree with you, Kutya will definitely stay in Omichka. And about Dinamo too, the only thing - Logan Tom has already played for Moscow in 07/08 season and club management was very disappointed with her performance, so I don't think she will play there again.
I made an example with her for a great passer.. I know she played there what I did not know was that Moskow's management was disappointed.. DO you know why?
I don't think we'll see her in Moscow. Moscow needs better setter and foreigners, all the others I would expect to stay. And no idea what will happen to Kazan, much will depend on CL results and Gamova's decisions. So far only Borodakova has renewed her contract.
I think she should stay in Omichka.. she's doing great there. I want her to see in NT, she deserved it after all... as much as I like Pasyinkova I can't say she's performing better than her now.. As for Moskow I think they definitely should transfer a setter they can try with Pankova.. if that works they can sign an good passing OH like Logan and a MB.. I'm sure Pankova will set her middles.. If not then they must use one foreigner spot for a setter.. and I have no idea which
Amil should definitely hire a foreign setter for next season... they can sign some other Brazilian of course but I don't imagine any top setter leaving their team.. Claudinha is playing really bad..she is not only setting 80% of the balls to Tandara but when she sets others the balls are predictable and her hitters are blocked..They lost to Osasco yesterday and I did not enjoy that game.. I mean it as fun and had great rallies but as I said Amil's game was too much one sided - to Tandara.. FOr me Kristin is doing a great job.. she's defending very very well.. she's hitting good, although I think she doesn't get as many balls as she should.. Claudinha rarely sets in zone 2 One thing I noticed is her serve has improved a lot.. That was one element I did not like about her game and now with Ze it improved So she should stay for next season together with another setter.. maybe Antonijevic?!
Crimes didn't get a chance in NT because USA has good MBs and they have tough competition here
Yes I know, but IMO she's better than Paolini although she (Paolini) performed great at WGCC
Crimes has been pretty good in Italy to go to weaker team from Azerbaijan. Who are other blockers on a team? Lichtman or Rivera??
Those 2 are OH

She's hot
I see Dixon is playing instead of Jackson.. probably Rabita is preparing her for F4 although I don't thin she's much better than Jackson, I really like Jackson's speed..I will be interesting to see if Giel is in a good shape.. I like a a lot!
