Forgot to mention the pools in the original post; they are:
Portugal, Estonia, Kazakhstan
Cuba, Czech Republic, Chile
First day is already over and featured 3-0 victories for Portugal and Czech Republic against Estonia and Cuba respectively.
I give up trying to edit these posts.
What does this tournament qualify teams for?
What does this tournament qualify teams for?
Winner of the tournament will play two play-off matches with the worst challanger team from VNL 2018. Winner of these two matches will play in VNL 2019.
Volleyball.it wrote that the winner won't play any match against the team that will be relegated (Korea). So basically the team that wins this tournament has its place in VNL 2019.
While Polish site wrote that there will be play-off match between winner and the weakest VNL team

That would be dumb if Korea last damn near every game of the tournament and still has a chance to stay
I hope Estonia can win this competition, but they disappointed me a lot yesterday and even today. I expected more from them.
The level of this competiton is so low that i dont think any of these teams can add something to VNL.
So sad that Slovenia and Belgium are not there.
What the hell happened to Estonia? Jesus...
Final will be between Portugal and Czech Republic. I for one never expected either of these teams to ever make the VNL with this format and I agree that I don't see them adding much to the tournament, but it is what it is.
Portugal it is. They just won the final against Czech Republic by 3-1 after being down 0-1.
LOL. I guess Slovenis is really pissed, they don't give a shit about VNL.

Well, if they didn't give a shit they wouldn't be pissed.
I'm curious at least to see how Portugal will perform in the VNL next year. Perhaps they could grab a few wins with all things considered...

I'm not so sure about that...
