Wow, did Evergrande play bad in the first finals match. Most of their starters hit zero or negative. Brackocevic (6 kill, 6 errors),
Zhou Yuan (3kills, 6 errors), Yin Meng (2 kills, 3 errors) and her replacement Wang Yang (0 kill, 1 error) hit negative too.
Only Logan Tom (8 kills, 1 error) and Suoma (3 kills, 1 error) could hit.
Passing was bad and their libero (no.16) really struggled passing. Gave up 3 or 4 aces.
Feng Kun set bad, I thought. Lots of trap sets an even a couple of misconections that fell to the floor.
Zhou Yuan couldn't hit past the block and got repeatedly blocked.
Tianjin dug most of Brakocevic's attack and blocked the rest.
Tom tried to rally her team by passing and hitting more but Tianjin's whole team was just great defensively.
What a performance by Tianjin! They are now one win away from the Championship!

the whole team of Evergrande was frozen from the first 2 sets, when they just realized that the host had got 2 sets in hand, it was too late.
serve reception was completely damp, even Tom held up and downs...on the contrary, Tianjin block over net and defense near floor were set up preciously and kept a very high efficient and accurate beat back...Evergrande proformed just crap when the opponent tried to clamp down over the whole game...

Looking over some pictures from the 2nd match, I thought these were adorable. Like in football, little kids escorted the players onto the court. Logan Tom says hi to the girl assigned to her and shares a lighthearted moment, playing with her and twirling her around. The smile on the little girl's face was adorable

Tianjin Bridgestone caught up and finally defeated host Evergrande from behind by 3-2. Tianjin Bridgestone girls burst into tears. all bridgestone fans were cheering for the heaviest champion trophy. Tianjin Team Group deserved for this championship
Lang Ping thought Guangdong Evergrande played a great league season, all players are respectable. during the crucial tie beaker, the whole team met some resistances from the opponent after easy lead by sets 2-0, but the players physical activities went a bit down, which gave Tianjin more chances to fight back.
for Tianjin side, neither veteran opposite Li Shan nor main setter gave a good performance, but Li Juan and young setter Mi Yang showed a big play from the 3rd set till the end. the outside hitters Chen Liyi scored 18 pts top in Tianjin Bridgestone, while Yin Na also kept consistent in a perfect form.
In the 5th set, Evergrandes were too eager for the victory to maintain calm mentality. When Zhou Yuan was blocked twice and Brakocevic attacked long from the base, Bridgestone found a big oppotunity to close this set. Logan Tom attempted to serve for the last ball, but the ball was not through.

We dont have MVP for League, If there shall be a MVP for CVL, it will be Logan...in my opinion..
Now, there are four players in new edition of CHINA NT now from Tianjin: Wei Qiuyue (setter), Mi Yang (setter), Yin Na (OH/OP), Chen Liyi (OH)...
the libero Wang Qian is in NT registration this year, but not involved in the central training...if the coach would like to adjust NTcomposition, she might be the very first choice to replace someone, not now....
