    Friendlies vs Croatia at 1st and 2nd September, in Eindhoven, have been cancelled by Croatian Federation. Dutch Federation is looking for new opponents..candidates are France and Azerbaijdjan.

    Kim Staelens said in 'Road to London', part 2 - I posted the link a few hours ago - that her knee-injury is nothing to worry about. Her knee has been her weak spot for 8 years now, and she had already 5 surgeries on it. So I presume she will play at ECH, hopefully as back-up for our ner setter-QUEEN Femke :D :super:


    And since Debby is in training again, I have good feeling she will make it to ECH as well :super:


    Pity Anne Buijs won't make it to ECH, though :( :(

    Our girls safely landed in Toronto, Canada at 11:00 AM local time :)

    It's difficult to recognise all players, but at least I see Visser, Flier, Blom, Stam, Schoot on first picture..and presumably :!: De Kruijf, Wensink, Pietersen, Huurman, Stoltenborg on second picture...Laura Dijkema is also in the roster, a reliable source just told me :teach:


    Kim Staelens stayed at home in The Netherlands for recovery of her knee-injury.

    L: Janneke van Tienen, Myrthe Schoot.


    Anne Buijs and Kim Staelens stayed at home because of injury. Quinta Steenbergen has not been called, unfortunately for her.
