Brazilian media interviewed Kiki about playing with Atom (and compares uniforms to Sharapova)
http://globoesporte.globo.com/…a-polonia-e-charmoso.htmlI do not know much Portuguese, but I can understand her description of Matlak
QuoteEle (o técnico) é frio e bravo. Já entendo algumas coisas agora e outras nem quero entender para não haver controvérsia. Ele é um vovô já, tem mais de 70 anos, e não vale a pena discutir.

Brazilian media interviewed Kiki about playing with Atom (and compares uniforms to Sharapova)
http://globoesporte.globo.com/…a-polonia-e-charmoso.htmlI do not know much Portuguese, but I can understand her description of Matlak
In the interview its written Erika adapt quite easy in Gdanks, she leaves in front of the sea and loves the view, she also like the food and said she has not having problem with the language, cause there are many turists in the city so most of the local population speaks english.
She also aproved using the short-skirt in uniform and talked about Matlak and eating beans in Poland.Quotes:
(skirt)"I received the short-skirt and thought It was quite strange. I had only seen being used before in tennis, never in volleyball. I used to have this obsession of pulling the short before making a reception, and I couldn't anymore. Not telling that I used to fell everyone was looking and imagining what they were commenting about it. But today I love it. It is more feminine, its charming and comfortable. It doesn't mess up the movement during the game, neither to pass, nor to defend. It could make a lot of success in Brazil."
Erika said the biggest change was the time of work. She said with Matlak in the beginning they used to work for 8 hours a day, divided in two sessions. But after a meeting with the players and with the beginning of the competition, Matlak reduced the hours of training. And since he does not speak english, Erika and other foreigners in the team depend on the translation from her teammates.
"He is cold and angry. Now I understand a few things already and other times I dont even want to understand so we don't have a controversy. He is a grampa already, he is over 70 years old, it is not worth to discuss. In the beginning was more complicated cause I was stopped for a long time and I didn't train that many hours since the time we still had advantage in volleyball. After the training hours reduced, it became easier. If we kept that rhythm, no one would arrive in good conditions in the playoffs."
In her free times, Erika likes to walk around the city and already met some brazilians that play football in Poland. When she has time she also likes to cook. Sine many dishes has potato, rice and chiken, Erika is not having problems to adapt the polish cuisine, she likes it. But she also said she does not have a hard time finding brazilian products, like beans so she can always cook something more brasilian at home, and already made a brazilian dinner for Rourke and Cabrera.
"Their cuisine is quite simple, abundant and easy sense of taste. But I can also find beans here easily. It is not exactly like ours, but you can survive (lol). It is a way to fell a bit more home. I made a dinner for my teammates from Cuba and Australia and they loved it. With the trips I still didnt had the time to invite the polish girls, but I'm sure they will like it when they taste it."
