http://www.ssc-vb.de/schwerine…deutsch-nationalspielerinReplacing Love with Lippmann....I guess that means that Turner will play many times as OPP next season again. If Alex Waibl hasn't managed to make a top player out of Lippmann, I doubt that Felix can do it. I hope I'm wromg, Louisa has incredible athletic potential but so far she hasn't managed to bring her volleyball skills to the same level. What's the use of jumping high and hitting hard when you can't control where the ball goes?

I think Louisa Lippmann deserves a fair chance - eventual she can get in shape there?
-
But that's what I mean, her problem is not "shape" but basic skills. During the final series, the few times she entered she was jumping higher and hitting harder than anyone else on court, but she made more mistakes than points.
Of course she deserves a fair chance, and as I said, I hope my expectations are wrong, but I'm sceptical. She has big footsteps to fill in after Love, Sloetjes, Mudritskaya...

USC Münster will not play CEV cup.
http://www.wn.de/Sport/Lokalsp…et-auf-Europapokal-AbendeI expected this decision after they lost roundabout 200.000 Euro compared to last season regarding available money - they just couldn't afford it financally (requires at least 12 players and costs a lot due to voyages and so on).

Karine Muijlwijk , Saskia Radzuweit, Nina Braack and Maria Kirsten have an offer from Hamburg for stay. No signed yet. They search a Coach first.

Ashley Benson had a knee surgery and is back in the USA where she'll work as assistant coach until the end of the year. It's still open if she'll play again after that.
Münster's president had a meeting with Theo Hofland these days, there are rumors about Britt Bongaerts as new setter in Münster...
-
Also VC Wiesbaden won't play Challenge Cup next season. Official reason is that they want to give their new young team one season's time to develop and concentrate only on league and cup

NawaRo Straubing is still in deep trouble. They managed to raise 60% of the necessary money for next season, but they need 20% more by the end of the month and they have big trouble finding new sponsors, so at the moment it's very uncertain if they'll play next season.
There haven't been any news from Aachen and Thüringen lately, so at the moment the future of the league is completely unclear.
-
Not so good news fromStraubing.

I think Aachen and Thüringen didn't play Bundesliga.
-
Just saw on Thüringen's FB site that their crowdfunding project run until next Tuesday and then they have to make a decision, right now they don't have enough money yet. And if they don't have it now, I doubt they can get there in 5 days
-
So the prospect is not good: it seems, that Straubing, Suhl and Aachen will exit late (and be punished therefore financially, by the way) first Bundesliga. Only Hamburg had chosen a clean exit, not to demand a license at all for the first, now playing in the second next season.
And with those many clubs getting out this will pose additional issues, because only the second league south has two empty spots (would suffice for Straubing and Suhl), but not the north, so Aachen can not get into second without complications (for example enforced descend of RC Scorpese to third).
-
Aachen will play in the 4th League. The second Team have a spot in the "Regionalliga West"
Suhl say they would play in the 5th League.
