awesomeeeeeee. USA USA USA USA. its good to see sean rooney get some action.
I like the USA team not my favourite (Brazil is) but I like their play. I was disapointed to see that McKenzy (is that the correct spelling) wasn't playing
I think he's an awesome opposite player...
i agree, Mckenzie was ridiculous in the WCH. but USA is just continually stacked with opposites. They still have brook billings and clay stanley
I liked mckenzie and I also miss Polster. That guy had a freaky arm swing.
they just need george roumaine to come back.
Roumain is one scary dude. It is too bad he can't stay healthy.
I see Polster is on the US roster for WL. Hopefully he'll get some playing time.
What do you mean about Roumain? Did he leave the national team because of injury / health problems? I thought he switched to beach volleyball before.
Quote from "warhorse"Roumain is one scary dude. It is too bad he can't stay healthy.

Roumain switched to beach volleyball in 2004. He won 1 tournament that year, then he missed all of 2005 for a back injury.
In 2006 he missed a couple of tournaments for a twisted ankle and he missed a couple more because he almost broke his pinky while blocking a ball (it tore skin and looked so bad one of the refs passed out!).
This year he missed a few tournaments because he got delerious during a match. He was so messed up he started attacking people who were trying to help and it took like 3 people to hold him down and get him to the hospital
Hopefully he'll be able to stay healthy long enough to get into some finals. He's very impressive to watch!
