Denise Imoudu is giving a clear message to Koslowski about her early cut from NT this summer
Germany - VBL 1. Bundesliga 2018/2019

2:0 Aachen But Schwerin started playing better in the middle of 2nd set, so this match is far from over I guess. Serve errors killed them in the end...
-
And Schwerin finally won in the tie-break. Of course Schwerin also suffers from poor preparation circumstances, definitely more than Aachen.

Schwerin - Aachen 3:2 (18:25 23:25 25:15 25:20 15:9)

MVP: Jennifer Geerties / Denise Imoudu
I had to leave after 2nd set but I expected Schwerin to still win the match after their comeback in 2nd set. Overall they're a stronger team and have more depth, but still Aachen can be satisfied with the way they played today.

-
I hope I get to see Hamson today.
-
Major surprise: Erfurt drags Schwerin to tie-break right now despite having only 8 players and using their OPP as OH and a MB as OPP. Even with Schwerin resting some players this should not happen...

A slight surprise: win of Vilsbiburg against Wiesbaden in three sets. No surprise in Münster: three set win for hosts against Suhl. And the DVV juniors are still to weak for this league: only in second set they resisted notably against Stuttgart (20:25), the first and third sets were too one-sided (11:25 respective 9:25) considering Stuttgart was mostly playing with substitutes and not fully integrated players. Sarah Wilhyte did well anyway.
-
VCO Berlin - Stuttgart 0:3 (11, 20, 9)

Difficult decision, which match to air: Potsdam vs. Münster could be well worth it too. But of course Dresden vs. Vilsbiburg is a very traditional duel...

The Stream from Sporttotal ist soo bad. 720p. We are not in 2013
-
Definitely the wrong decision for volleyball geeks: Potsdam vs. Münster is much more interesting.
-
Potsdam - Münster 2:3 (22:25 25:23 25:21 23:25 14:16)
http://live.volleyball-bundesliga.de/2018-19/Women/2019.pdf
MVP: Anne Hölzig / Juliane Langgemach
Potsdam had match point at 14:13 but lost. Münster's youngsters Alsmeier (2000) and Keller (2001) have such good stats again
Suhl - Erfurt 0:3 (19, 18, 23)
http://live.volleyball-bundesliga.de/2018-19/Women/2020.pdf
MVP: Tereza Patockova / Sindy Lenz
Erfurt again with Finley as OH (7 reception errors from 13 attempts) and Thater as OPP, but looks like their performance against Schwerin really fired them up. Suhl seems to have trouble finding the right starting six, the coach keeps alternating players back and forth in every match.
Dresden - Vilsbiburg 3:0 (16, 15, 17)
http://live.volleyball-bundesliga.de/2018-19/Women/2022.pdf
MVP: Maria Segura / Myrthe Schoot
Totally one-sided match, right now Dresden seems in very good shape. Vilsbiburg lost Daria Przybylak with a shoulder injury in 3rd set after colliding with another player in defense, hopefully nothing too serious.
-
Just watched the tiebreak of Potsdam-Münster and Ivana Vanjak also hurt herself She slipped on the floor after landing from an attack. It didn't look too bad but Buijs took her out, it was impossible to tell if it was her knee that was hurting or her calf muscle; I hope it's nothing serious!

So, 25.11. 13:00 Uhr: Potsdam vs. StraubingSo, 25.11. 15:00 Uhr: Stuttgart vs. Wiesbaden
No clear info yet from Münster about Vanjak, just that she injured her knee on Wednesday and it's not certain if she can play tomorrow. Doesn't sound like it's anything very serious though...
-
She was playing for Stuttgart and later for Schwerin already.
-
The first two quarters were done today: Schwerin won easily in Münster in three sets and proceeds to the semis alongside also expected Ladies in Black from Aachen, but the latter were at home first two sets down and won barely in tie-break with 18:16. Tomorrow the last two quarters are played and the semis drawed.
