Japan - V.League V1 (Division 1, Women) 2021-2022

  • toyota is making other teams a run for their money, proving they're not the pushover team everyone thought they would be this year

It's a shame both Okawa and Shigihara weren't ready at the beginning of the year season. Not they are that great but they're sure doing a better job than Captain Mioko and Cherry Blossom Girl did. And the libero switcheroo helped a lot, too.

  • speaking of... there's the rotation 1 funky stuff that we all love

    'splain please

  • Hitachi is quietly outplaying PFU. hmm

I believe Toyota just brought it to deuce from 20–24. That means they have arrived :super:

  • Hitachi has secretly been improving over the past month or so, but I think PFU's covid time off made their wheels get rusty. They don't have the same 60's version of Batman BANG POW WHAM they had a month ago

  • in normal rotation 1, the opposite hits on the left, the outside hitter hits on the right.

in the USA NT system, they don't do that. the OH will stay on the left and then the opposite will run behind (Queenseis ran in front) to the right pin.

    oh yeah, okay. ADD

    (annie drews disorder)

  • 4T looked a little pissed on that high RBI thing she just did :white:

  • Mana Toe continues to impress massively

Uni girl on court in the middle for Toyota :rose:

  • Oh well. She's got a cool serve but back row defense isn't there yet

  • I just turned on the volume for the SAGA match to see if caveman is there. I can't tell because that Zetterlund chick can't stop rambling on and on and on and on and on

  • PFU Team B takes set 2 . Pretty cool

  • Just peeked in on Saitama/Himeji. Saitama's defensive specialist Miiku Iwasawa is a name we should all start familiarizing ourselves with. She rocks

  • My SAGA/Toyota stream has been unreliable and full of horizontal lines ('telecined') most of the night. Bit of a bummer
