PUR - LVSF 2023

    Valentin is playing awful. No connection at all with the middles. Overloading Kubik, that was another weak link - she scored more than Mancuso, but with twice of the attempts and many mistakes (she was blocked twice in a row in the last 2 points of the 4th set and Santurce was leading by 8 points) - was another bad idea.


    Collazo was so so. Mancuso was very good, but she has to be involved more and with better sets. Fitzmorris was okay, considering she didn't play as middle for years. Seilhamer was good.


    If they can recover one of the 2 missing middles (Tellez and Ortiz), then with the diagonal change of the league (Kathia Sanchez and Fitzmorris) canhave a chance against Corozal. This way, with Abercrombie playing amazing, they have no chance.

    Corozal leads 1-0 against Santurce. Another massive choke. Valentin was awful. She completely forgot the middles. Kubik with good passing, but as awful as usual as a spiker. Of course Valentin sets to her on the set point and she gets blocked. Like on the last 2 points of the last game. RJP amazing in the first set. Mancuso killing the ball.


    Corozal is a killer team from the service line.

    Debora has been awful too.

    Mancuso is totally out of the game. She only gets bad sets for behind. And RJP lost her magic and made too many mistakes, also because of the setting. The middles are there just for the block. Kubik is... Kubik.


    Also Valentin makes so many mistakes in defense, taking easy balls from her teammates and leaving them OOS or walking for the court and creating confusion on her side of the court when they have to defend. Never saw her playing this bad.:white:


    Does Torres have balls to put Kathia Sanchez on court? So far is a lesson of volleyball.

    I left after the second set. Valentin was once more bad, after a good first set. She overloaded the right player this time (RJP), but in the second set they had just 1 kill from pos 4 if you don't count the tips. When all your foreign players are outside hitters and all of them + the opposite can't kill a single a ball, there's something wrong with the setting. On the other hand, Corozal enjoyed spiking over Natalia's hands from pos 4. Abercrombie deserves to play in a strong league, she's playing at very high level for years by now.
