From this interview it seems now quite sure that we will see tall and powerful players like Diouf, Rondon, Chirichella and Folie in NT, together with more experienced ones like Piccinini, Barazza, Cardullo and Arrighetti, but Lo Bianco is not untouchable anymore and this is a very nice and surprising news!

italy has tall players but powerful? so kidding. diouf and chirechella are potencial but far away from being powerful.

italy needs a balanced squad. like they did in 2007.

gioli is not the shapest weapon though, but she is still a very useful weapon, as a sub.

chirechella/folie is so unexperienced,and guiggi is so everage these years, so gioli is the best sub though she has a lot of anti-fans.

The truth is that who dares to say something against the "Italian NT System" is OUT.

Many other players share Piccinini's thoughts but none of them talked, cause they know they would be out of NT 4ever.

piccinini is a famous player and did good moments in bergamo days, but in NT ,from 2008 beijing, she shows no good quality.

you once said barbo is bad, because he did not call ferretti, now coach changes, you said the NT is bad, Leo is bad, because mencarelli did not call ferretti. what a logic.

i love this team, so i can respect who will return and who not, whoever leo, gioli or picci,ferretti, because they got something in NT ,in the new cycle they should be subs or not involved,it's fair.

and i think everyone has his taste and mind, so call whom or not is just about quality and preference. it's normal. if you think NT is horrible, leave it alone.

as ferretti, i think it's normal to call she or leo, but they are not young, so there is one seat for them. the coach made his choice.i respect that.ferretti is still a good setter, but leo is afraid her to take her place? someone has illusion. leo or ferretti? i think both of them are good but there is only one seat, another is for younger generation.

as rondon, i think she is so potential and i saw she improved a lot in A1 this year. barbo's choice was right. the coach could see the fans could not see, that's the good coach.
camera and signorile are so potential, but there are only 2 girls in a team as setter. so i respect the choice.

i think it's more like USA's tryout, a list includes 30-40 maybe more than 50 girls,haha.

Marina Zambelli will join Enrica Merlo, Valentina Diouf and Chiara Di Julio in the NT camping in the next days.

zambelli is shocking me, i think she is one of the girl "bergamo should not keep now and maybe forever". she is even not average, not mentioned good or better. what could she do in NT? for the unversiade or Mediterranean?

i missed crisanti, garzaro, stufi even partenio baggi and lotti , who didn't called by mencarelli.

just 9 girls gathered first in Milan.all of OHs are good receivers but not strong attackers so tirozzi could get the chance.

barcellini will be in the camp just because she is still in the lega A1 finals.

i love the veterans,but i think this year ITA should have more new faces (in fact most of them are not new, they once were called by barbolini,so i think barbolini has a good sight and taste, even someone and himself was criticized at that time.)

she performed not so brillant in final four of CL,but you said it too early.
even she is in a team with a spiker of poor reception,a opposite of no spiking, a blocker of nothing , she is better than the rival-arrighetti in busto,
she had achived something top level of MBs in Italy,i can tell a truth:
she is better than arrighetti and guiggi and young girls right now in NT.
she has no need to join in NT anymore, but you cannot say she is done!
