Just to make things clear: my post was not mainly directed at you, it's just that I'm generally annoyed by the language of "club X should get player Y", so no offense!

Same discussion as every transfer season Clubs don't simply go to a shop and buy players, clubs make offers to players but in most cases the player chooses in which club she wants to play. Always two sides are needed, it's not enough for Eczacibasi or any other club to want a player. Also, most players don't necessarily choose the financially highest offer (though certainly some do) but consider many other factors, also factors outside of volleyball life.
That's true and fair. it's just that Eczacibasi has a history of not very well-thought transfers.
It was said here that she will go back to Moscow next season, I wish Eczacibasi got her though
Was thinking about this, too. She could fit well there. They got space for a foreign MB and she'll complement Jack nicely. Unfortunately, Eczacibasi sucks at choosing players.
She announced her retirement from NT already
Awww. Was hoping she would make a comeback at least for this year. Oh well. Elif and Cansu it is, then.
I thought Naz would have been considered at least in the wide roster. Sure she had some inconsistencies in Eczacibasi but she also showed some flashes of brilliance and with a bit of determination to win gold in Paris, she could be even better. Besides, she won't have to worry about having to set Boskovic so that solves half of her problems. (Just kidding )
If Fener brings their A game, they should win. Looking forward to an epic match.
Display MoreRaping people is a justified "retaliation?"
i swear, people in their mom's basement talking like they know all.
Hamas is a terrorist group.
Israel and and USA are no innocent (specially USA)
But really? You justify Hamas killing and blatantly parading their kills?
the group that stole billions of aides that's meant for their people.
Did I say I'm justifying Hamas? Let me get this clear for you. What Hamas did on October 7 was wrong. But like what I said earlier, it's a reaction to decades of living under an apartheid regime. If you continue to instigate violence, you will get violence in turn.
Seriously, calling people "living in their mom's basement talking like they know it all" is your kind of discourse as if your information is any better? You won't get far with this kind of rhetoric and it's not an indication of a healthy and respectful discussion.
If anything, this "war" has exposed these Western countries for the frauds that they are. They call themselves as "progressive" and were so quick to condemn Russia for invading Ukraine but were silent when it comes to Gaza and continues to support Israel even though it's committing war crimes with impunity. A genocide is happening and is even being documented in social media and still... Nothing.
Again.. they were able to say that 33,000 people were dead yet they can't say who's alive anong their hostages?
palestinians also celebrated on the streets when Oct 7 happened. What needs to happen is for Hamas to stop existing.
What needs to happen first is for Israel to stop oppressing the Palestinians. October 7 happened as a reaction to Israel's violence towards Palestine. If you treat people like animals, surely, you wouldn't expect them to react kindly to you, right?
Dude. You sidr with terrorist Hamas?
the group that can calculate the number of casualty by Israel but aren't sure who among their hostages are still alive?
Siding with the Palestinians doesn't equate to siding with Hamas. With the 33,000+ dead at Gaza, surely, not all of them can be Hamas, can they? Specially when most of them are Women and Children.
Fener's starters are all great. Too important, in fact. If one of them is injured, it creates all sorts of problems for the team. You take one piece out and everything unravels. I think there's a risk Eda could get injured again as we saw in 4th set. Might be a good idea to play with Meliha and Fetisova in the next game.
Congrats to Ecza, btw. Gray has been getting a lot criticisms but she justified her presence today.
Oh. I see Eda's back. Her
dedication is admirable but I hope this won't risk worsening her injury. I would've thought she would have at least given this 4th set a break.
Wishful thinking Drca would be the starting setter for Serbia this summer with Maja filling an impactful sub like what Berg did for USA NT in 2008. This club season is arguably the best Drca I've seen play in club tournaments. Hope Fener renews with her.
At this rate, it would be a success already if THY manages to reach 10 points. What a complete meltdown.
Congrats to THY for reaching 16 pts! I feel bad for Van Ryk for doing everything she can but not getting rewarded with at least winning a set. I kinda expected a better fight from THY after putting good resistance in their last games. Guess they ran out of ideas.

Oh My. THY can't get anything right in the past 8 points.
I can already imagine my ears bleeding with Cansu and Yuan screaming duet
Any news if Fener will renew with Fetisova? Would be great to see her continue playing outside Russia.
I would've love to see Fetisova get the award just because this is probably the closest she ever got to getting one.
