Lol every time an Italian club wins CL, Italian league is simply way better, when Turkish league wins them 3 years back to back they're both equal level :rolll::rolll::rolll: I will let y'all live your fantasy, I do think Italian league seemed stronger this season too. However, I don't think a league with such unaesthetic court colors and sponsors covering every inch of my screen will be the best league for me personally, I simply can't watch long term  and that is my personal criteria.

So what do you think about Syria? There, as in Iraq and other North African countries, there were regimes and dictators, including: Saddam Hussein, Mubarak, Assad, Kaddafi etc. As long as they were there, there was peace, there were fewer immigrants in Europe, etc. From the point of view of Western Europe, it was better not to touch these countries and not to change the regimes there, which caused chaos, civil wars, etc. It was a mistake Western world. I don`t think that Arab countries are ready to forcefully introduce democracy, which will collapse a few days after the withdrawal of NATO troops, like Afghanistan. Regarding Turkey, don`t forget that it is a member of NATO and has obligations resulting from this. If Turkey wants to be 100% neutral, as it was during World War II, it should leave NATO.

I don't know about all of those leaders in detail, most of them to me were bad, some horrible, some maybe had good things, but the thing is everyone has the right for self-determination and it is not up to us to decide what is good or bad for them. Maybe some people don't want to be introduced to your form of democracy which is not causing all global rose fields and peace in the world either last time I checked. Some societies work with authoritarianism or severe forms of socialism and don't need everything on the state level to relate to them personally, they are ok doing what they think is right for the greater good.

No country or people are ready to be forced anything on them forcefully and you are not entitled to assume when or if they are ready for such a thing  China has done a great job with their economy covering 1 billion people, do you think they have the right now to come to your country and tell you how Italians should live their life?

Let us also add the fact that the west not only introduced "democracy" to these countries as it seems you are thinking. If you look at the governments installed/funded by the west in Syria, Iraq, Afghanistan, they were mostly islamists while the original governments were not. Last time I checked you didn't have sharia law in Italy. These governments/orgs were funded to weaken the countries and steal oil, quite clearly. As a result of displacing all these people from their homes, you have now a refugee crisis, very much deserved :rose:enjoy it, the evil energy you put into the world returns in some form back.

I don't know how old you are or if you remember the time when Erdogan was also in prison in the 1990s when he was mayor of Istanbul for public displays of religion. In Turkey, one regime: secular and military was replaced by another: populist- Erdogan. Turkey doesn`t have a tradition of model democracy like in Western Europe. To complete this way, many years must pass and these may be difficult years, like for example in Poland and some countries in Central Europe, such as Hungary, have turned back from the right way. The only thing I can agree with you is that from the point of view of the entire NATO and Europe, the secular- military regime in Turkey before the Erdogan era was better for us- I mean the Western world at all, because it would be 100% for NATO and wouldn`t stand in the middle between NATO and Putin.

How does this relate to anything I said exactly, with all due respect? This post is about Turkeys invasion in North Syria which I disagreed with.

The western model isn't anything any of us aspire to take inspiration in, globally outside of the western sphere. Turkey indeed learned to be imperialist from Western countries sadly, the Syrian case is caused by Turkey, the Western countries and Russia altogether. Previously the west also caused messes in Iraq, Afghanistan, Vietnam, Korea and now ongoing case of Palestine and Syria. Erdoğan was installed and funded by Western major powers in Turkey and this is why his ways initially were causing dislike of the public and state at the time (years later we see they were right) and he eventually backfired on them and stopped listening to them. Just like how ISIS and the Taliban backfired on them and also was funded by them.

I am critiqueing our own state and hoping it can improve independently and stop from imperialist and genocidal ways of the west, all the west is doing is stealing resources from the same people it kills and discriminates against, very shameful capitalist societies that have disconnected mostly from humanity a long time ago. The eastern European countries are failing because they are modeled to support western economies and they will never surpass them for that reason, they don't want them to. Even Japan in the 80s was attacked by this same ideology and since entered an era of depression.

It is simple for me, no more imperialism.

That is not for you. Only for intelligent people who follow Turkish league closely and check all details about what happened and what is what...

:rolll: We can always rely on Turkish league thread for high quality shade on all flanks.

I wanna thank all communities here for their contributions this season. Turkish, Serbian, Russian, Brazillian in particular as usual slayed. :rose:

See y'all next season, Busa will be in a mid level team again btw serdar our fave team is decided.

i think lookism plays an important role for many. Goncha’s antics make her a vain diva, while ebrars her a disgusting person deserving a punch in the face and the middle finger

Most definitely, it is interesting the same people that judge Ebrar can defend Goncharova quite honestly, I happen to think Ebrar was probably even inspired by Goncharova's career for her shenanigans. Goncharova used to always target youngsters and teenagers as well, so slightly worse to me! Pretty privilige at it's finest.

To me personally I honestly don't care as much, as long as they don't take it too far and physical or take it personal off-court, sometimes Afrontes are fun.

Maybe you should explain that how can you compare a warmonger like Putin and Erdoğan, who is also a corrupt politician but last time I checked turkey didn't invade another country:roll:

By the way, before randomly throwing my name there, check if I even said anything about Goncharova should challenge to Putin 🤦 my discussion was only about that dumbass calling everyone stupid because people think different than him. So don't interfere before understanding what the discussion is about 🙄

It did actually. What about North Syria, also caused people to be displaced from their homes and settled with different pro Erdogan religious groups. Afrin used to be 95% Kurdish and it is below 30% now with ex ISIS members making a large portion of the new city thanks to Erdogan, many women were butchered in this process. Also we supported Nagorno-Karabakh war, that displaced people as well. Whether we think they are justified or not (for me I have a strict anti-war stance tbh) Ataturk's peace at home, peace in the world quote/rule for the Turkish state and insisting against any form of war outside Turkish borders has indeed been broken by Erdogan. I find Putin and Erdogan to be very similar and both tyrants. Today we still suffer from this decision geopolitically and even within, hopefully we do the right decision the next election before it really is too late.

There are numerous Russian athletes who have been outspoken against the war. Not only Gamova but also tennis players on the ATP and WTA circuit such as Medvedev, Rublev and Kasatkina, hence its obvious this stance isnt as impossible as you suggest in Russia today.

    https://www.insidethegames.biz…medvedev-speak-out-russia

To be exactly fair, Kasatkina doesn't live in Russia afaik and Tennis players have some form of immunity from the strong federations and the continuous international tournament systems. These players are not so much stuck in their country. But yes it is clearly not impossible.

Though I can understand and empathize with Russians that don't speak up against the war tbh, in Turkey we know very well that if you said something that crosses Erdogan's line you can find yourself with a tickets straight to jail. Turkey and Russia both have the highest numbers of jailed journalists.

You and your besties Altinli and Santastongue makes three. Who else?

Lol the way this insecure mod targets me when I am not even in the picture :rolll::rolll::rolll: You are a hypocrite and an enabler and we are indeed tyrants against that, this is how the world goes, you can't just silence people you don't like and expect them to be nice in return. Don't expect us to think your fake niceness and polite phrasing changes anything. The world needs less polite people and more KIND people in my books, some people seem to think these things are interchangeable but they are absolutely not.

I have disagreed many times with both Santastongue and Serdar, just because I also agree with them on certain matters doesn't mean we are besties. Surprise surprise, you are not part of a sole majority of thought and reason lol.

MVP should have been Arina obviously, she was go to player all season and when it mattered she got crappy balls and turned them into points. And yet not even best OH award for her, it’s disrespectful.

Vargas didn’t have good season, it’s just absurd..

Rest of the awards are deserved really. I would still put Arina over Ana for best OH though..

Tbh she didn't have such a perfect season either, we all criticized her performance early on, she only has the most in points this season for FB by far because Stysiak and Vargas rotated out eventually, but both contributed a lot too when they were playing.

Vargas was awful today too. Worse than boskovic. But her team showed up for her. If she gets mvp that’s absurd….

She had the most points in her team by far I don't think its absurd. FB didn't play great in general today, they just won in the key moments and the middles took some responsibility but it isn't enough points I guess to call them MVP since they had 13 points together and Vargas 15.

Was a mistake FB was ready for her she should have tried someone else.

And if they did that on 1 of 3 of those critical bosko errors and a mistake happened ppl here would feel justified to blame everything on the player without prestigious name :S Let's face it, they tried everything and FB is just better right now, on all positions really.
