About Bolu, someone shared an article from local newspaper in Bolu.

It said some players left and said we don't want to work with that coach ever again. And some refuse to come bcz of the coach.

I also heard they are having financial problems. They are having some problems to pay the players.

Mess. :S Honestly Bolu was all negative vibes this season in general (minus the players) I hope they just retreat and the league continues with 13 teams or ideally their spot is given to a team from 2nd div.

Çukurova, Kuzeyboru, Nilüfer, PTT, Sarıyer. With fun, competitive squads it seems, although I can't exactly tell yet, of course, they do have competent rosters. If GS makes good moves and they already have Anthi then the top with VB, FB, ECZ, THY and GS look good too. That's 10.

The 4 other teams I'm unsure of for now Aydın look like they have a plan but it depends on their next transfers. İlbank going all locals again? There are some names there but they need more or it's a sure degradation. Sigortashop already has two foreigners and still I don't see a plan and mediocre locals so far. Bolu are doing nothing... lol. degradation coming up.

I was honestly worried because the Turkish economy was doing horribly but the league managed to stay consistent at least which I'm happy for, so far it seems it might be an improvement even. Hopefully next season some things in the country change too so the economy improves as well again :rolll: (2023 elections will be huge)

I highly doubt that there was some group of users comparing 1 vs 1 Karakurt to Egonu since Paola is already a historically great OPP. I have quite good memory and I remember that a year ago we had ... the same discussion about these alleged comparisons of Karakurt to Egonu (even the same participants, lol, saying basically the same things), there's no reason to bring it once again, no one was fully right and no one was fully wrong (since Karakurt proved herself on this level while Novara flopped for different reasons).

    Transfer Rumors & Discussion (2021/2022)

So people literally said that Ebrar is one of the names that comes in mind AFTER the big 3 (Haak, Egonu and Boskovic) and the same people twisted the narrative and somehow thought that means she is on their level? And now are bringing them twisting the narrative initially back up to prove their point that's wrong anyway 😂

"Someone attacking around 40-45% would be just fine and Ebrar is well capable of that."

Literally correct lmao, no one said she will be. Egonu. Maybe read what people say before getting defensive next time.

Edit: oh btw thanks for the link Realista this post is not a reaction to you, I was just reacting to the link and the situation 😂 Just clarifying as it might look wrong.

If you read the transfers topic before the season and the hype there was about Ebrar, even that now Novara will dethrone Imoco thanks to Karakurt you will understand what I’m talking about. And when I said it won’t change anything I was attcked by number of users. Where they are now?

So after all this hype I would be disappointed that they were supposed to win Italian league and they even don’t make it to the final.

So what. Boskovic is possibly one of the best players in the world but her team is a mess as well and was 4th last season in TL and again didn't make the finals. Ebrar did great this season really. She had some flop moments as well but volleyball is a team sport...

Idk what you're referring to but it sounds like something irrelevant to stir the pot 😹

Context matters, she got over 70 sets from Hancock, against great defending team - she played well (maybe besides her service game), as in this semifinal in general. That's Egonu or Haak treatment if you expect her to cover all the weaknesses of her team and lead her team to victory on this level, but there's something between ''rather disappointing'' and ''she's not Egonu after all'', and that's a place where Karakurt right now is (very good player after very good season).

If there's someone that perhaps should get more scrutinized while she's not, it's Daalderop, I didn't like her all-round game in these matches against Monza, but with Bosetti being out of shape, Hancock playing so-so, Chirichella being meh, and Daalderop being okay-ish - it shows the messiness of Novar as a team, I guess.

In the tiebreak Novara's game started to be very predictable and Monza started to dig Karakurt and had great overall defense, you could see Hancock didn't really feel like there were much options left and she isn't a setter to create wonders. iirc Britt also made some errors and that cost the match pretty much instantly at the final stage.

Well...at the end of the day, that was a close match-up that got decided with a tiebreak in a 3rd match. Both teams did well, someone just had to lose.

I didn't follow the whole league but from the match it felt like a deserved winner and overall better team felt like Monza during the match to me.

Is FB's libero the one who has kerfuffled with Gui?

Yes but she is a total victim, she was on his team, for whatever reason he randomly decided to cut her from the national team and slowly cut her in VB as well and turn her into a bench player until she finally was able to get out and now she plays for FB. She asked many times what the reason was for her getting cut and what she could do bcs playing for the NT is her dream but unreturned by Gio apparently.
