    This is what happens when you are 19 and spend a whole season on the bench. So when you get court time you feel like a fish out of water.


    But again she's 19...a lot of years to improve... Of course that won't happen of she stays on the bench. Just Practicing with Boskovic, Kim and Natalia won't get her anywhere.

    Merve 7/13 plus 4 blocks and 1 ace. She played really well, mostly important she acted like a leader on the floor


    U just said the sets were horrible. That explains why she could not kill more balls.



    And if performing well in the u20 was a do or die, certainly there would not be many players left playing.


    Terry did not play well... Will this game define her future?. Of course not.

    She made the dream team last edition and people were saying she was gonna be the next big thing for Turkey. But like every Turkish Player with Potential, she signed with Vakifbank just to be on the bench all season long..... she has not improved or done anything ever since.


    I read something about this giraffe thing......lol (but I did not pay attention)...so I don`t know what u guys were joking about, I guess she just did not play tonight?


    I`m all for Japan tomorrow.

    Morello uses the middles a lot....Hopefully she gets some playing next season, she would do great with Veljkovic and Cristina.


    Lubian and Kone were great tonight.


    I like Cebecioglu, she has a lot of potential....but knowing how Tugba ended it up...I`m afraid same thing will happen with her.

    What a game...Italy showed a lot of heart while down by 2 sets.


    Both teams wanted to win really bad. And the Mexican fans stayed till midnight :super:.


    It was not fair giving Turkey the point with that rotation mistake. It almost ruined everything.... But Italy showed that ball don't lie.

    Stevanovic has been posting some workout videos and saying she can't wait for the season with Scandicci to start. I guess she will be joining them very soon if she hasn't already joined them.


    She looks healthy and good to go. Will be hard for her to make a case next summer for s comeback, but that makes me think she might not even want to come at all... Makes no sense that she would take the summer off before the OG (she's not Rasic).


    And actually it is not right for her to leave her team when they actually need her.

    I will not be surprised if Gabi and Natalia are on the Pan Am roster. Natalia is injured? Ze does not care, as long as she can play at least 1 set per game.

    I don’t know what is wrong with people here, when someone shares an opinion, you go and share your opinion and it is finished. When someone shares an opinion about a team or player, most of the users come and attack. Try to insult with “yeah she should stop playing volleyball”. Yeah honey you guys are the only one who can have an opinion. That attitude is SICK. Blahhh

    My response was not directed to you. It was in general , and it was actually another user who said she was terrible in the finals without taking her surgery into consideration

    Hande is only 21.....I will say it again only 21.. Not every player will be on the top of their game at 21.


    And she had a great season with Gala...a lot of time when things were not going well she was the one carrying the team and giving her best.


    If every player had to be a finished product by 21.....I guess there would be only Boskovic, Zhu and Egonu playing.


    She had a surgery a month ago...of course she was not ready to play at the finals....but yeah her current shape is terrible, Gui should get ride of her and she should never play volleyball again :gone:
