I see, thank you for letting me know. Poulter was doing well and it makes sense to wait for her, especially since the second half is the one that counts the most.
I don't have any sources for any of these btw. It just the speculation that I've heard from other Brazilian fans.
I have no doubt about Poulter being a good setter but the problem is that she easily injured. (Not that it's her fault ).
Her first season in Busto, injured during regular season for a long time. Second season in Busto, she got injured badly and couldn't finish the season that Busto have to buy another setter just for play-off. Then she transfer to Novara and got injured again. This time she only played two or three matches and the whole season finished. Again, her injury is not her fault but this is the third consecutive season that her injury affected her and club's performance.
According to news, she had just done the knee surgery successfully in US, the healing period is rather long (8 - 11 months). We all know how messy knee injury can be. The second half of the season does indeed count the most but the first half is also very important for Novara if they want to secure that CL's spot.
It would be wiser to buy another good setter to fill in Poulter's spot and wait for her return if they have that budget. (Same as Monza did this season, Fernando got injured just before the season got started so they bought Zimmermann to help.) I would love to see Robert in Novara
Hope Poulter comes back soon and becomes stronger .
