serbian roster is older comparing with italy and türkiye. needless say drça and ognoneviç 35+, boşkoviç is geting older. mihajloviç played well until 30. even that praised buşa is almost 30. okay, serbia will be the one of candidates to gain gold in paris. but after paris? they wont be top team unless they find another players with extra talent. boşkoviç wont win every game single-handed for serbia every time

Objective opinion, Serbian team keeps producing young prospects almost every generation. If your follow CEV and FIVB U16 U17 U18 U21, you would find out they have lots of prospects in terms of OH, much better than rest of European countries. They girls are born with extra power LOL . Serbia is one of the least to ever have to worry about lack of prospect with extra talent. ( This coming from their constant rivalry - fan of Italy,

really? for whom? at least she is less error prone than say egonu

Lots of opp are less error prone than Egonu, does that makes them a better Opp than her ?

Vargas is good Opp, just not as good as Bos & Egonu at the moment. Just accept that and wait until Vargas won certain numbers of Club&International championship titles/medals before making such comments out of saltiness.

I think there might be some credibility. I’m not making any guarantees but it’s matched some stuff I’ve heard. Nothing super concrete or very specific but I’ve heard quite a few people say she’s looking in Italy and Milano makes sense.

Milano wants bos for a long time and the club will move its home arena from Monza to Milano next season. Bigger city, more exposure, more sponsors...and they definitely wants a star player.

some trivial stuff. Bos signed with Decathlon to be their volleyball team ambassador ? or something, same as Orro. Decathlon have some collaboration with Milano, not sure it's sponsorship or not but their jerseys are supposed to be made by Decathlon kispta. Bos even shot her CV in Milano's arena last year.

If she ever consider play in Italy, Milano indeed makes sense.

Would Stysiak be an upgrade over KVR?

    Maybe GS would be interested

And other option is Eczacıbaşı, incase Boskovic leaves

Stysiak is an ambitious player, regardless of her level.

She flee Scandicci and joined Monza as soon as she found out Scandicci is out of Champion League the following season even though she already agreed to renew her contract with Scandicci.

So I don't think GS would be her option to be honest. Ecz is probably what she want hahah

Gray is great at attacking but to me she still looks like a huge liability at reception. Do you think her reception improved over years?

Absolutely yes, i mean she is not a good passer even now but before her time in Busto, she is dreadful in reception.

She made her name in Buston, improved her reception and attack. Then Imoco recruited her.

You are right, it might be indeed coach's decision 🤦 I think bosetti is one of the rare OHs who can actually cover other OH successfully

I didn't watch L.Bosetti's match in the Turkish League but last season she was the starting OH alongside Gray in Busto.

Poor Gray had to received tons of balls and then spike tons of balls by herself. Neither Bosetti nor the libero would help to cover a little bit. We have questioned the whole passing system for so long. Seems like the same thing happen again LOL.

Gray would definitely understand the burden/pressure that Leyva has right now.:rolll::rolll: Gray came through and became a better OH tho.

iMO Scandicci wanted to renegotiate the salary paid to Malinov. I am sure she was highly paid - her salary was pretty much on the top. Since she was underperforming, the club felt it overpaid her (did not play much and she was not delivery the results). She wasn’t going to budge. The club did the math, pay the penalty for breaching the contract and hire another setter cheaper. It is financially in their favor for it will be saving money. In the current state Malinov is, she would not be making much difference to the team’s performance; Yao Di might not or might make a difference to the team’s performance. Either way changing or keeping the setter wouldn’t be a disaster since YD is a good setter and has many years of experience.. The management opted to save some money.

Do you have any source about the salary renegotiation stuff ?

Yeah, I know. But what can Yao Di bring on the table? They wasted a foreign spot on an average setter. He Qi and Feng Kun were a whole different level of setters - expecially Feng Kun was pure magic with her NT - and still failed in Italy.

There is simply no decent Italian setter available at this moment and the club needs one more setter. At least YD is supposed to be better than Di Lulio,

Hopefully Antropova's problem got solved soon and she could start with YD.

Zhu and Pietrini both have 30% of spiking rate tonight with Di lulio'setting ;(;(

Yao Di in Scandicci is one of the weirdest transfers ever. :what:

It's not that weird if you know she is a closed friend/besty of Zhu and they have the same Italian agent - Marco. The Chinese league was over and Scandicci desperately needed another setter, the timing is right.

(Ezac once hired Mirkovic, besty of Bos. if you can see the similarity here. Not that i am comparing the two setters
