Display MoreVolero wins 3-2 in Cannes.
It was a really good game with a lot of defense. In the first set Cannes played amazingly well.
Cannes could have win, they were leading 11-7 in the fifth set but 3 bad reception of Yaneva gives the match to Volero.Mammadova (21 pts), Djerisilo (21 pts) and the libero played great for volero. In RC Cannes side Ravva (26 pts) and Yaneva (18 pts) were the best scorer, Filipova did a great job in blocking (6 blocks) and Fomina show that she is still one of the best libero.
Now everything will be determined by who win in Volero, it will be an exciting game.
Volero will be the favorite to win again... but if Cannes can play as good as tonight making less mistakes in serve they can qualify.

if we take the first set ı believe we would beat novara.but we lost first set and turkish player lost their control.unfortunately yesterday novara was better then eczacıbaşı.and they beat us.but despite of that ı still believe we will beat novara in istanbul.ı am sure you know how eczacıbaşı plays at home(remember eczacıbaşı-murcia). and ı hope çitakoviç will get better before the other match.coz çitakoviç so important for eczacıbaşı we need her killing blocks.
and sisam ı don t think so.coz haneef still doesn t show her real performance.ı think we must give to her more chance to play better.

Tebenikhina is still injured and she never played in Russian NT after Athens 2004. Tischenko played in Germany for 1 year after OG 2004 and then rtired (if I'm not mistaken). Nowadays she doesn't play for sure.

Congratulation to young Turkish players especially their attacker no 10 ! She played excellent volleyball. I didn't expect such difficult game.
In my opinion, the biggest but also the nicest surprise of this tournament is Turkey's superbly talented young setter Naz Aydemir. I am impressed with her intelligence and creativity in both matches. Turkey finally finds a setter who can make her team play modern volleyball. It is not only great for Turkey but for volleyball since we don't see this kind of setters growing up nowadays.I hope we will all watch her similar even better performances in Grand Prix this summer.
gözde kırdar(no 10) is just 22 years old but she play very well.she play in vakıfbank güneş sigorta (this team play in challenge cup).our all players play in this tournament and all of them give good impression.actually naz aydemir show us she will be a great setter.my team will performance better in GRAND PRİX this summer.coz in these time neslihan demir,eda erdem and natali hanikoğlu will turn back to NT

Well done Turkey! They deserved it after the magnificent comeback in the 3rd set. Esra was really good today, and so were the others. I don't know most of these girls too well but they made a big impression and showed that it's possible to win without Neslihan.

As far as I know Bahar did not want to play and Elif is not as good as the other two setters (Pelin and Naz).
you are right matthias, bahar mert and arzu göllü don t want to play in NT
it is right elif is not good as naz aydemir.but it isn' valid for pelin. if naz had no problem with her knee,she would play as our team setter insead of pelin.congradulations for turkey even they lost match
they play very well without neslihan demir,natali hanikoğlu,bahar mert,gülden kayalar(she has gribal virus),eda erdem and gökçen denkel.all of them injured or pregnant aysun and esra don t play even they are in team roster.they are injured too...ı believe that they will make a sürprise in this tournament.
