Yeah, I like her songs made with Smolik. You can check her out on her site: http://www.novika.pl makes sense, right? There's lots of music there to hear, especially remixes. There's also an almost 1h mp3 of her live to download. I always listened to it while studying, I'm listening to t.time with smolik now. sounds great! thanks!

Does anybody here listen to classical music? I like the pieces with violin. Just beautiful!
-
I use to play quite more classical music than I actually listen to classical music (I'm playing oboe in a student symphonic orchestra) but I like to listen to symphonic music sometimes.
I like the work of some contemporary movie music composers (like Japanese Joe Hisaishi - who made all Hayao Miyazaki's movies OST- , American Danny Elfman -who made most of Tim Burton's movies OST- , and others) . I also like the work of Brasilian composer Heitor Villa-Lobos (and his amazing "Bachianas brasileiras"), of French and Russians composers of late 19th century and early 20th century (Ravel, Saint-Saens, Moussorgsky, Borodine ...) and most of the 18th century music (Especially Haydn, Haendel, Vivaldi, Mozart ). I'm not a huge fan of opera or piano music, but i like some of these too.
But what Ilike the most are rock band + orchestra works, like Deep Purple's Concerto for group and orchestra , or Yes's Magnification . Deep Purple's concerto is really close from a classical piece (with three 15 to 20 minutes long movements, and the band not playing a single note before almost 7 minutes in the first one). Yes's album is only a progressive rock album with a full orchestra.

I'm not a big fan, but I like to listen to the classic. Chopin, Vivaldi, Satie - them I like the most. I often listen to Polish station RFM Classic, where is a lot of this kind of music. Unfortunately, I can't play any instrument... -

Wow Armel an oboe!! Beautiful http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RnwZoIHrfAY (Morricone - The Mission)
When I was a child, I played the violin for five years. Unfortunately that was many years ago. I would like to restart again, but it is expensive and I don't have much time. And without time with violin is not good, since it is a very difficult instrument to play.
