Hi, Joana! It hit the spot. No wonder at all. This kind of tournament in South America is at sixes and sevens every time. That's the way that it goes.
However, I though CSV could give up the wild card or give it to Rexona this time only for a change. What they are? A thrift shop? -

According to globo.com, CBV picked Rexona and Molico to play in the South American Championship. Brazilian Cup won't work as a qualification tournament this year.
-
Oh CBV....so pathetic...Brazil Cup is being played for NOTHING.
-
For me doesn't make sense a short championship like Brazil Cup give a spot for South American Championship, while we don't have a Super Cup, Brazil Cup seems a spend of time to me.
-
Well, I dont really mind that the Brazil cup dont qualify to the South American Championship...I agree with Hana, the tournament is too short to qualify to a more important tournament, at least if the hole qualification were from that......the qualification should come from the Superliga. MAybe one ticket from Superliga and another from Brazil Cup....could be a better solution I guess.
Brazil Cup doesnt mean much...but its kind of the same in Europe, but its important for the championship itself, it has a tradition in Europe. The Cup could be important to develop volleyball around Brazil, if the Final Fours fly to neutro places...could be interesting.
But I agree for the team for now..makes no sense..
maybe the existence of Supercup, or one ticket to South American championship could help with that...but I didnt like when only the Brazil Cup qualified to the South American as well.
-
I agree with you, guys! Superliga is way more important than Brazilian Cup and is at the pecking order of the championships. The spot must go to its winner. 'Share and share alike'.
On the other hand, I also like the idea of having the Cup. Although the tournament doesn't feel so good as we would like to think, we have to start from somewhere. -

Big surprise
Anyway, I've watched some matches yesterday and today. I liked the game between Osasco and San Martin. Peruvian team put a really good fight and their joy when they blocked Thaisa - priceless. LSpeaking of Thisa - she was again attacking from pipe. I want more of that. Much, much more, heheh. Lots of long rallies, nice defense. About Mari, she hasn't played today, but yesterday she scored 12 points. Which kind of surprised me a little, I barely remember her game.
I'm watching the games on voleysur's site (good quality) and their cameraman or whoever is responsibble for the broadcast is just and Love it when during a rally camera changes 4 times, including frame on players legs for 3 seconds. Right, who cares about what's going on? But I'm not complaining, it's good to have all the matches broadcasted and actually recognize the players

Rexona-Ades Champions and qualified to Club World Championship!
Fofão announced after the game she is going to play in Zurich if healthy, so that will be actually the last tournament in her career! I hope Zurich makes a good party for her!

But damn, Zurich was out of my plans this year...
