nice results in this 11th round...Macerata lost his first position loosing in Modena against a great Trenkwalder, who finally played with heart,courage and passion. Now Trento takes the lead, with a strong win in Perugia, who is suffering some bad perfomances in these last rounds. My team easily won versus Martina Franca, no match yesterday, we totally dominated from the first minute to the last one, with 9 aces and 10 blocks. Treviso continues this "crisis period", another loss, this time in Montichiari(6000 spectators... )and now they're risking their position for the Italian Cup, with only 2 points to defend from Pineto(who lost 3-1 in Verona). Cuneo stopped Padova's excellent moment remaining on the 5th place but only 1 point behind the 3rd place.
Only 4 teams are sure to participate at the Italian Cup's final eight in Mantova and Bassano del Grappa: Trento, Macerata, Piacenza and Montichiari. The others are battling sooo hard to conquer the other 4 places, and the next round can be crucial, at the moment 7 teams can still qualify for this Cup, it's going to be a real show...

Zlatanov was injured too?I am shocked...I thinks he is the best player in PIACENZA in these few years.

in the last 8 years all the imaginable unluckyness stayed with us day after day...

mmmh in Kazan i'm sure that Pampel won't play, and 90% he won't play versus Macerata too, in the next round of Italian League. i think he can start to play versus Padova on the 28th of December, when he will have the right feeling with the rest of the team.

Hm, sorry for Zlatanov, really a huge loss for Piacenza, but i rely on your team to beat Macherata next weekend.

unfortunately i think without Zlatanov we can't beat Macerata...

i really hope to see these quarterfinals: Macerata-Verona ,Trento-Treviso, Piacenza-Perugia and Cuneo-Montichiari...it would be very interesting...also because Trento in 22 matches versus Treviso won only 4 times...
and Cuneo suffer the way Montichiari play

I think Trentino will "escape" from Sisley Treviso...meaning that they will take the lead soon again ahead of Lube Macerata... but the finals for the cup will be amazing for sure!

i made a mistake in one of the last posts...
Perugia was not already qualified for the Italian Cup and in this last round they lost incredibly their opportunity to battle for this title. Modena won at PalaEvangelisti while Vibo Valentia outclashed Montichiari so that the southern team could qualify as eight placed, even if versus Macerata will be a bit hard for them...
Speaking of Macerata, they beated us yesterday night in an amazing match, with a Marshall simply fantastic for us and Omrcen unstoppable by Macerata's side.
i am thinking: if without Zlatanov and Pampel we almost won in Kazan and also yesterday, what will happen when they can play? very very good for us...
Trento lost versus the weak Martina Franca...overall, they lost at home...i wouldn't bet any cent about this win of Frantz Granvorka's team, it was an incredible surprise for everybody, but Martina Franca deserved this victory, Trento committed too many errors, the most important was underestimate their opponents.
And now Treviso...since when i follow this sport it's the worst season of this team...they lost also in Cuneo and they're now seventh in the standing, which means they will play versus Trento in the quarterfinals of the Italian Cup( ).
I think honestly that they've definetely ended their period of domination, too many old players that have won everything so now they're "satisfied", Ricardo and Gustavo can't stand each other, a fired coach after 20 years...the ingredients are really bad...
Padova wins Pineto, and return to hope in a miracle for keep their position in the league for the next season, while Forlì is in totally crisis, dominated by Verona never battling or fighting.

a short comment on the Italian Cup: we will have 3 great matches for sure, only one seems already decided (Macerata-Vibo Valentia), all the others look balanced and very hard to pronosticate.
With Zlatanov and Pampel i think we can beat Montichiari without so many problems but this sport always makes surprises so we must be careful...in particular to Gavotto, their opposite, and Paparoni, the spiker.
I see Cuneo a bit more advantaged than Verona, but this team reach of young players has nothing to loose, they're already the surprise of the league and they want to continue to astonish everybody.
Trento-Treviso.... the Italian Champions versus their nightmare...sooner or earlier they will win Treviso...but who knows when....i will support Sisley with all my finger crossed.
