FIVB Heroes

  • FIVBHeroes.com opens a Japanese version.
I think it's ridiculous. Japan not only bought the World Cup, World Grand Championship Cup and OG Qulification, but also an FIVB page now. It won't be too long before the FIVB website has a Japanese version.
    FIVB really need money! :rolll:

  • Here comes the FIVBHeroes season review! very awesome clips!

And for your information, Ivan Zaytsev's portray was at the end of heroes album. Seemingly there will be one more hero soon.

  • Simone Parodi's interview is released.

And... I don't know whether this is a secret...

and just for your good, don't consider the situation during world cup...

  • While our beach volleyball FIVB Heroes have just kicked off their new season and the indoor ladies just wrapped up their club campaigns, the indoor men are still finishing their seasons to prepare for the World League and Olympics. For Bartosz Kurek from Poland this year was a “silver-season”.

Kurek, who has been practising with the senior national team since 2007, became a key player in 2009 when Daniel Castellani decided to trust this young wing-spiker after working with him in Belchatow. The young Polish star became a starting player and held his ground even when Castellani left and Andrea Anastasi started working with Poland.

Bartosz has had a successful year so far: with the national team he won bronze at both the World League and European Championships. But there was a time of worry when a few weeks before the World Cup Bartosz suffered from backaches and had to sit out the league match. Doctors discovered his problem and warned him and Anastasi that Kurek might not be able to go to Japan. After a few days of rest and subsequent physiotherapy, Anastasi decided to take our FIVB Hero to Japan, but let him play only if necessary. From the third match against Argentina on, Bartek returned to the court, leading the team on the road to qualification for London. It was he who stopped the Brazilian opposite Leandro Vissotto at the net: his kill block gave Poland one of three first places at the World Cup and its ticket to London!

After the World Cup Bartek came back to Belchatow and helped his club win every title it competed for. Kurek won his third Polish Cup in the four seasons he’s been playing for Skra, followed by a silver medal in Champions League after a thrilling five-set match against Zenit Kazan and the Best Spiker award. For his team that was a disappointment, but for Skra every defeat is a motivation. Hungry for victory, Bartosz Kurek won the semifinal against another FIVB Hero: Zbingiew Bartman and his team Jastrzebski Wegiel, but failed against Resovia Rzeszow, grabbing his third silver medal. Maybe in the upcoming season Kurek will finally stand on top of the podium?

We will find out very soon!

  • Poor heroes:
Sasa Starovic, who had been injured for a long time and barely is ready to play till now.
Matey Kaziyski, who is about to quit national team, as the rumours go.
Ferndinand Tille, who is fading away from people's eyes ever since WCH 2010, besides there's quite a long list of heroes in Germany now, namely Grozer, etc.
Simone Parodi, who was poorly injured in EOQT. Is there any possibility of bad luck that he misses the OG?
Hecter Soto, who is also leaving the NT.

  • When will Nesli transfer to GS ?? :D

You once told me a story about secret negotations/deals between GS and some Turkish NT-players for near future :P

Story is a big strange  Galatasaray tried to transfer Neslihan this season and Eczacibasi managment realized the risk and they bring a good offer to Nesli and she didn't reverse it so she is two more years with Eczaci :super: She loves to play in Eczaci her most of friends are her team mates and once she said that she wanna retire her career in Eczaci. It's strange that her husband can't convince her to play for his club :aww: but Orkun is a really good manager probably he will work to transfer some Vakıfbank players for next season (Gozde,Bahar and Gizem) Galatasaray fans have already start campaign in twitter for Gozde, they wrote to her '' Be our star Gozde '' and she looked quite statisfied.
