    I still don't see any changes affecting Sete's situation... Cannes looks as the only side which lost points. I don't know why. Besides, whatever that is, it seems like Kolakovic's team has significantly dropped form, composure, rhythm, and pretty much everything there is to lose. I heard there are some injuries, but only Dejan Radic was missing in their last encounter in the French league at Toulouse. And the score was worrying. Ewoud Gommans, who was otherwise impressive at the beginning of the season, has lost his starting six place and his game. As if it weren't enough, as a consequence, Cannes was eliminated by CAI Teruel in the CEV Cup last week. Weird...

    Now yes, but several days/weeks ago they had 4 points less.

    Situation is little bit complex about this topic.


    Sete was fined because they didnt send documentation to CACCP in time. Some sponsors didnt give money in time so they waited to complete documentation. Their appeal was accepted and CACCP returned 4 points.


    Cannes have financial problems and if I understood well they tried to hide those problems from CACCP. Commision deducted 3 pts but they didnt appeal.

    Having broken the European Cups set-score record earlier this season, Lyon with another marathon performance, this time in the French league against Montpellier at home. The game lasted 2:15 hrs, there was, however, no tie-break. Lyon won 3-1 and grabbed the second and the third set by 37-35 each!

I don't know if this is true, perhaps they plan on reducing the number of participants, I doubt 3 new teams are going to replace them. Besides, the French league has been one of the most balanced in Europe recently and one of the very few where 14 teams composed the elite division. And they have had enough quality to keep the format.

    Yes, they r cutting number of teams for 2016/2017 season. Next season there will be 12 teams in order to keep quality.


    But like in last 2 seasons, there might be some changes, DNACG must confirm licences for next season and there is possibility Beauvais wont get license due debts.
