    Montano and Guiggi played their first games . Guiggi played as OPP and was very good. Their opponents were teams from 3rd devision.

    Olympiakos made 11 errors in reception ( i think the most from Emonts) . I cant remember the last time with so bad reception against a greek opponent.

    The only player of the Greek league who played in wch18 is Megan Cyr (S- AO Thiras). She arrived in Greece yesterday.


    In Friday Olympiakos beat AO Thiras in a friendly game 4-0 (25-19,25-22,25-16,26-24). Olympiakos has better reception than the last match and AO Thiras had 18 blocks. AO Thiras played without Cyr .Also Merteki, who had lost almost all the matches with Greek National team due to problems with her knee, wasnt ready (4/21 at.)

    Makedones changed their coach and the new coach didnt like the two foreigners of the team (Bulajic, Cast) and they will be replaced by Marija Jelic.


    Also the coach of Aias said that the goal of his team is to take the first place in the league.

    It was the first lost for Olympiakos in his home after 2014.

    especially in the last set and points she was very good. I expected to get more balls from the setter during the game.She took 43 balls and the other oh 39. Olympiakos played without his main setter but he had very bad reception and only 5 points from block. Aris had 6 aces from the setter and 6 aces and 4 blocks from one young MB.


    But the first scorer of the first week was Guicci. She said that before 2 years realized she can play as opp and if was opp in the past she would have bigger career.

    Each team can have 3 foreign players but the coach of Aris said that maybe they will take another one. So Montano is considered Greek . He also said that Montano played 50% of how she can play and in the future will be better but Olympiakos is much better than Aris and their main opponent is AO Thiras for the second place.

    Really? She is consider as Greek? When she played for Chemik there was an interview with her. She sais she loved Greece and wanted play for Greek NT but the greek federation didn't want her so I thought she didn't have greek citizenship.

    The former libero of Olympiakos was from Albania, she was considered as Greek but for many years couldnt play in NT. Also all the players of Cyprus considered as locals but cannot play in NT. Montano maybe has greek identity but not citizenship.
