China is the host for the women's tournament, but many of the top players of Tianjin (likely to participate in this tournament) are in the NT training for the VNL. Also there is a domestic tournament... Chinese Winners National Championship (10-30 April).
I'm not sure why they postponed the men's event as well (host: India?)

Are you sure China will host this? China will host the World Club Championship in December. This Asian tournament is a qualification for that so they don't need to participate in this one.

I have seen it somewhere... before I put it in my list of international events in the “Asian Women’s V Updates... “ However I might’ve confused this event with the world event.
If they haven’t found a host yet, then that would be a good reason to postpone
Also, China being the host for the world event will get a guaranteee spot, but I think they will still participate in the Asian event to get a second team to join.

Do we have host and date for this?
-
Nakhon Ratchasima will be the host and the dates are 22-29 September.

Why Ajcharaporn is not on NEC list?
She hasn't gone to Japan for training before this, so not surprising that she's left off the roster, but no idea why. She only started training with the team today when they met her in Thailand.

Lorrayna in for Wada. Hmm

-
Iran shoulda kinda won that first set anyway, if not for that, I assume, back row setter getting hit by the ball above the net in an overpass return. Just pushed their victory into overtime
-
Wow
What a match ! A different Iranian team showed up today and they went toe to toe with NEC !

Yoshino out to prove her critics wrong
-
Moeka Kinoe has a deceptively effective serve
Even better than that, as a middle blocker she commits early to swing with authority. None of this Araki wimpy pushover shit. I'm considering stan action

Yoshino out to prove her critics wrong
She doesn't have critics. She has haters who know very little about her
Having said that, I think she has a little jump server infection tonight, wherein when the jump serve isn't landing it brings down the rest of her game -
That's her ferocious jump serve × 2
