Yes, Brazil just smashed Russia. Impressive. Only first set was quite close. But Russia won't have any problems with qualifying to the semis, because they play weak Japan in the next match.

I watched the match and in the last set Russian team looked really poor against the Brazilian players. Honestly I didn't expect such a lose. I am wondering if Grankin is really the only opportunity for a second setter in the Russian team. I just can't believe that in such a big country as Russia there isn't anyone better than him. I just don't see who can stop the Brazilians on their way to the first place, and especially when they are playing at home

In last 7 years Brazil won 6 gold medals and 1 silver. They lost final when they played... at home
But I agree that Brazil is a favourite. -

Again.. normally for win, but surprising result (my opinion) -
Serbia was much, much better and USA didn't handle the Serbian way of play. I hope tomorrow in the game USA-Poland, Poles will play like Serbians today. This one win will be enough to qualify to the semi-final.

Fantastic fight between Poland and USA! Too bad, we didn't manage to win in the 5th set (as far as I remember, Poland won 1 tie-breaks in last 9 or even 10

This defeat hurts, cause win was very close 
Now, Poland has to beat Serbia - the higher, the better (3:0 or 3:1 would be good) and Serbia definitely won't give us any present... -
It was more than clear to me that Wlazly is a great volleyball player, but I didn't know that he has such good skills in football
BTW: It was very tough match and in the end of the tie break i was sure that Poland will win, but i didn't guess.

It was so beautiful..! But it's sad about we lost... : / tomorrow we must to win... Do you know what is with Kadziu? I don't understand Lozano... why he did this change? (Gruszka + Woicki) Mariusz played great... we could win... But they played really good. -
I was at the game today....and definetly was the best game till now of the World League finals....
well..there were some up's and downs from both sides....
The cheer in Maracanazinho was almost all for Poland...I mean...something like 75%...the other part was for USA...specially cause there were a lot of americans at the gym...but Brazilian people tried to help the guys with the cheers...singing "Polska" and..."ole ole ole ola..Polska..Polska!!!"....
I think Wlazly was better with the foot then Priddy!!!!
And about Kadziewicz...from what I could see...he felt his back...so Lozano had to took him out!!!!Bt I don't know any news...or if it is serious or not...I just know...that he not even stayed at the gym...he left the court after a feww minutes with the fisioterapist....But I hope is nothing serious!!!Cause tomorrow another important match...and Poland needs to win...

Poor reception nad not balance attacks was problem in Polish NT
Especially Winiarski Plinski had problems nad was only one option Wlazły in spiking That was to easy for USA great game but We lost today we have to beat Serbia but we have to play better in reception and spiking with no technical mistakes. -

And I like what Świderek (2nd coach) told about Wlazły play... if not this 7 block on him, would be very good

For me Poland played yesterday like in Izmir - strong but something misses - although in Izmir they were without 4-5 key players. Now with the best players are not i so good shape i think. I read some opinion about Olympic Games that USA will fall to Poland 100% sure. Now we'll see how you will do that Poles
