She had the great oppurtunity to play Italian and Champions League in a great club like Yamamay so it's really a pity she didn't decide to take the surgery before... poor girl, very unlucky decision
Slpetjes is really a monster spiker，what a pity for both.
Normally it takes 6 months, after injury she choose for option with rest and no operation, so may be she could play EC. But it didn't work
I think Sloetjes will miss the whole 2013〜2014 club season，also CL！

4 matches won 3-0 against very weak opponents (Cuba, Algeria, Kazachstan, Cuba)
4 matches lost (3,1, 3-0,3-0, 3-0) against very strong teams. (China, Serbia, USA, Brazil )
1 match lost 3-1 against a team at the same level, at least in that match. Bulgaria.
Players:
Buijs: by far the best Dutch player. She had problems in reception against strong serving teams. Very reliable attacker.
De Kruijf: she improved a lot in block, this summer. I'm glad for that, because block was her weak point.
Steenbergen: she played well in first week, but after that her level dropped.
Stoltenborg: in general she played a good WGP. In many matches she could not do much, because of the bad reception
Grothues: good receiver. In attack very weak against strong teams.
Pietersen: as expected too weak at WGP-level.
Knip: considering she so far only played in Dutch League, one can't expect her to play stable at WGP-level. Against the strong teams, she was (very) weak in reception. She needs time to improve.
Flier and Sloetjes: still recovering from injuries. Since ECH starts in 2,5 weeks already, I doubt they will be able to perform at 100% in Germany...Pity.
NED has so many things need to improve.
The most important thing is reception and defense.
Steenbergen is not in her best shape，and Grothues is getting weaker...
Otherwise，Kruijf is really good，but she still needs to work with Stoltenborg more comfortable.
Buijs need to improve her reception.
About Pietersen，maybe Moniek Jansen is a better choice...
Stoltenborg is ok，but it is still not enough，but considering her first playing in WGP，really amazing.
Knip is sooo young，she needs more experience.
Plak is strong，she just needs more chance.

Flier and Sloetjes are important to NED in attack.
ned receive and dig really bad today and also should train serve especially jump serve.
I hope Sloetjes or Flier will be the starting six，Pietersen is not the best choice.

What do you think of Kirsten Knip's performance against China?
Think about she is only 21，and this is the first international match，really good in dig，except zhu ting.
But she did not do a good job against BUL.
Schoot is more experienced，but Knip is more talented.
Happy to see some new young Dutch girls with great potential
I don't know about Bonsen's current shape...I don't know if she will become a solid receiver at international level..
Plak has already good reception-skills, considering her age...Possibly she will be a solid receiver in a few years

I'm very pleased with Kirsten Knip's performance so far...the same of course Stoltenborg
Grothues is, as expected, a disaster in front-row, against strong teams (Bulgaria, China)
Pietersen is too weak, as expected.
Hopefully, Sloetjes and Plak will play more next weekend.
Flier was a disaster yesterday. She is still far from a decent level.
Buijs, De Kruijf and Steenbergen played as expected, They did a good job.
Can Kathy Bonsen or other player replace her，Stam not included.
Stoltenborg is a really amazing setter，she just need some time to grow up.
It is the first time she play in a international level match，but she already played so well！
Much better than Dijkema...
And pietersen is really weak，she is not a powerful opp，maybe setter can give her some quick ball to hit.
Why sloetjes still on bench？She is a really monster attacker！

Yes, all players in starting-six tooday, played in the past for TVC Amstelveen. But, that is not remarkable, since Selinger gathered almost all talented players around him in Amstelveen

So i think Knip willbe out，and one Opp will be out for each match.
I agree. Caroline is a very good blocker and in general a strong allround-player. Of course, Robin is not at Caroline's level yet, but she has improved a lot recently

Flier is the spirit leader 
And i think Wensink is a big loss，her block and dig is really important！
Well, she is weak against strong blocks..
But she is really a good receiver，in some way she is now the most important one in Dutch system！
Without her receive，Steenbergen and Kruijf will be useless...
Also i think Pietersen should back to MB（or Van Dealan），OPP is too much，Flier、Sloetjes、Moniek。。。
