What a superb match! I just loooved how the Russians managed to came back to the game. Alekno's changes were insane and prooved to be very effective. Musersky was brilliant OMG! I'm literally speechless. Congrats to the Russian NT! Although I feel a little sorry for the Brazilians. IMO it's Rezende's changes in the 4th set that made a difference for the worse... Anyways, Russia rules!

I see Bulgaria doing good so far Hope they can keep the momentum going and beat the Germans. As I wrote a few days ago Brazil and Russia are the favourites to take gold, now it looks like they can meet in the final - I surely hope so.

You're 100% right. They still didn't manage to change their mentality and while under real pressure their game just falls apart.

It's not Anastasi's fault that Poles lost the game. He made some changes and it didn't work. Just because he's Italian doesn't mean he doesn't care about his team. I bet you considered him the best couch ever when Poland won in the 1st match against Italy in the OG, not to mention their win in WL. Now after 2 lost games all you do is blaming Anastasi and using f words - NICE. The Poles are a bit out of shape. Moreover, they underestimated the opponents, even though they played a good game against Italy. When they realized that the Aussies are not such a weak team as they had thought it was too little to late. So calm down and think twice before you start offending everyone next time. A real supporter is with his team regardless of the results.

True, most Poles supported AUS, simply because they want their team to advance to the QF from the first spot. That's not gonna happen unless BUL loses some points, and preferably not only against Italy. I can assure you that on any other occasion Polish supporters would cheer for Bulgarian team

Kind of disappointing, that it turned out to be a 3-set game. Nontheless I still consider both teams to be favourites to win the gold medal, with team USA, Italy and Poland strong contenders to reach the podium place.

I was hoping to see a tie-break, but it's not gonna happen if the Russians keep on serving in the net and don't improve their reception. Go Russia! C'mon guys, all of you - I know you can. Only Mikhailov is doing well, but against Brazil you need the whole team at their best.

Gosh, I can't wait for Russia - Brazil game... In my opinion both teams are the favourites to win gold. Fingers crossed for a high quality game.
