why libero have 2 different uniform? like in Hyundai there is white and pink

Briefly, when normal players are involved in any substitution, the referee has to be notified and the substitution recorded. When a libero replaces any player, he is allowed to enter or leave the court without any notification. To avoid any confusion, he needs to be different from his teammates....thus, the separate uniforms. Hope that helps 😃

They have been accused of bullying more than 10 years ago...their ages then would have been at the most, around 12 or 13 ....Youngsters at that age often misbehave....yes, it is wrong, but they have apologised and incidents like these do not deserve the scandalous attention they are getting now. The twins’ contribution to Korean Volleyball more than make up for any wrongdoing they did when they were so young. I would like to see them playing for Korea in the Olympics ❤️❤️.

Today, Friday 12th February is the first day of the LUNAR NEW YEAR of the OX. Lunar New Year is celebrated by the Chinese, Vietnamese, Korean, Mongolian and Tibetan communities around the world.

Warm wishes to everyone celebrating Lunar New Year with their family and friends.

    祝, 身体健康,恭喜发财 🙏

Coach Lang Ping and her team would also like to wish everyone HAPPY LUNAR NEW YEAR

Looks suspiciously like the national team line up, minus Ding Xia and Yuan Xinyue. What about Louisa Lippmann? I thought she played well.

Here is my own pick for the Olympic squad, based on the recent forms of players...it differs slightly from the above list and there are only 8 players at the moment. I am not convinced the others are good enough currently, but I have added a list of potentials for each position. OHs can double up as OPPs, if required.

OH: (3 players) Zhu Ting, Zhang CN, Li YY

Others: Xu RY, Chen BY, Wang YZ, Wu Meng Jie

Note: Although, Xu Ruoya has improved ....she used to just slam the ball straight into the blockers, I have doubts about her consistency. In the CVL round of 6, against Guangdong, she had to be replaced by Wu Han. As for Wu Mengjie, I have only seen one or two videos of her playing and It was impressive.

    OPP: (1 player) Gong XY

Others: Liu YH, Du QQ, Chen PY, Sun Xiaoxuan

Note: Sun XX is a young Liaoning player who can hit the ball very hard.

MB: (2 players) Yan Ni, Yuan XY

Others: Wang YY, Yang HY, Guo H Z, Zeng YX

Note: Yan Ni will be included in the squad because it is Lang Ping’s style to bring a few veterans for important tournaments. Zhang Yu, Zhang Qian, Gao Yi and a few other tall MBs, are not agile enough, and besides Gaoyi has no strength 😐

    S: (1 player) Ding Xia

Others: Mei XH, Diao LY, Yao D

Note: Mei is an attacking setter and a good blocker as well. I feel she would make a reliable backup setter.

    L: (1 player) Wang Mengjie

    Others: Nee FF

Note: Nee, with her fine performance in the CVL should be given an opportunity.

There are other capable wing spikers like Sun Jie (Shandong) and Zhong Hui (Shanghai) but the national team selectors probably won’t consider them because they are shorter than 185cm. Ironically, if Lang Ping at 184cm, is playing today she wouldn’t be selected also 😐

    ,

I'm sure it's an accident, but Diao only touched her side of the line very little. And this isn't the first time this kind of injury has happened. Those are the objective facts.

Agree that it's best to move on from this.... these kinds of crusades never help the situation, but part of Tianjin and Jiangsu fans have been at each others' throats for as long as I remember watching CVL.

Yes, sport is not without the occasional on-the-court and off-the-court incident.

As for young LYY, I hope she’ll get over it soon. It was quite a contrast seeing her last night, and on another occasion - right after the finals between Tianjin and Shandong in the national championships about 2 months ago. Then, she was laughing and joking with Du qingqing and other Shandong players 😃

The last match of this year’s CVL was an anti-climax, I feel. The final was decided yesterday when setter Diao injured herself. I am surprised that a top team like Jiangsu doesn’t have another reliable replacement setter, having loaned Sun Yan to Guangdong this season.

Tonite, both teams didn’t play well. Receiving was erratic and there were too many serving errors. Even more worrying, Zhu seems to have lost the ‘killer’s touch’ even when the blocking from both sides left much to be desired. The only bright spots were the outstanding performances of Li YY and Zhang CN. Xu RY seems to have improved, being able to find angles when spiking. Another surprise was young Chen BY of Tianjin, and Libero, Nee Feifan, with her stellar performance, could be selected by the NT coaches.

Is it possible to have Gong as the setter and the pins are ZT, LYY, and ZCN?

as teammates in the NT ? Not likely...the NT has Ding Xia, arguably the world’s top setter and a few other very capable back ups...such as Mei (Shandong) and young Sun Yan (Guangdong) and of course Yao and Diao if both can overcome temporary setbacks.

Then there is the matter of a replacement for Gong as opposite, which I can’t think of anyone as suitable as her, at the moment 😐

I feel like Wang's shortcomings is more mental, like she overthinks too much which isn't helping her improve.

Since it looks like Jiangsu will come shorthanded and be runners up this season, I hope they win the National Games. Isn't it more prestigious than being league champions?

Yes, young, relatively inexperienced players like Wang and Chen can be affected mentally. When Chen started the match, she was swinging freely and was scoring. Then came a block and a miss hit, and after that she became hesitant and resorted to drop shots and slower more measured spikes. Perhaps their coaches can turn things around.
