Rolled ankle should take about six weeks... I guess I spoke too soon
Zhu ? I thought Diao was the one who twisted her ankle. I was concerned that Zhu’s wrist might have been hurting 😐

how ironic, it doesn't matter now...
She did it in Vakifbank a couple of times too. Guess that wrist is getting better.
I hope she recovers completely before Tokyo2021....🙂
Who is the no. 11 of Tianjin? She seems a little bit clumsy, but quite effective in attack and have high jump. I love her.
She is their reserve spiker playing in the opposite position. She is 20 years old and is listed as being 187cm with a reach of 307cm, although It appears to be higher than this, probably around 315cm. I found an article about her...
OMG, so sad to see what happened to Diao.
something like this happened in the final of the national championship between Shandong and Tianjin. Key Shandong player, Sun Jie injured herself in the first set and from that point it all went wrong for her team.
Live telecast of the second match (best of 3) of the CVL finals between Tianjin and Jiangsu
It's itching me to see her sets to Zhu Ting. It either too low or it will break Zhu Ting's backbone
yes, it was hard to watch, wasn’t it. Zhu is normally quite flexible and is capable of a good spike even if the set wasn’t perfect...but tonite even she can’t do much.
Who is Jiangsu libero? She's quite good in defense and receive
Nee Feifan. She played well tonite. If she continues to perform, she could be selected for the NT. At the moment the country’s #1 libero is Wang (Shandong) and #2 is Lin (Fujian). However, there is talk that Lin could be dropped. She no longer has the speed and accuracy that she had when she helped China win Gold at Rio 2016. Also, the fact that Fujian performed below expectations in this year’s CVL, didn’t help. I think the national selectors are looking at Nee, Meng (Tianjin) and a few others to replace her. However, Meng played badly tonite 😐.
I didn't watch it yet, but seems like it's the usual yao di being yao di
Yao Di is the #2 setter of the NT....when she is good she is brilliant, but the problem is she’s inconsistent. Tonite she performed poorly and if she doesn’t improve, she might lose her number two spot to Diao (Jiangsu) or Mei (Shandong).
It’s the start of the finals at 7.30pm Beijing time....in a few minutes.
Jiangsu’s victory tonite was due in part to the lack of effective blocking by the Shanghai defence. Their real test will come when they meet Tianjin in the finals 😐
Shanghai from 23-20 to 23-25 Jiangsu won 3-1. Lippman couldn't score, she likely ran out of gas
The game basically ended when she became too tired. She, more than anyone else was responsible for putting Shanghai in the semi finals.
There is live streaming of the match between Liaoning and Shandong and later Guangdong vs Shanghai at YouTube.

Couldn’t post the link here....apologies.
There’s live streaming of all the matches at YouTube today...
I noticed something about the Tianjin team, Li Yingying (at 192cm) appears to be the same height or even slightly taller than Wang Yuanyuan (at 195cm). Our eyes can be deceiving and 3cm is nothing, but has anyone else noticed ?
Volley2020 @ Facebook is showing Shanghai vs Jiangsu live !
Any live broadcast for Guangdong? Thanks.
apparently not from Volley2020....I hear it’s all going one way for Guangdong 😐
There is live telecast at Volley2020 now. Shandong vs Beijing....
And they're starting from the beginning? I mean 0 wins, 0 points, just 3 matches dach team and 3 best are going to the next statek?
Yes, they will start from a clean slate.
In Stage 3 of the competition, the top 3 teams of groups C and D will combine to form group F where a sort of round robin will be played, whereby you are not required to meet teams you have already played within C & D. Results from within C and D will be carried over to group F.
4th placed teams from C and D will play off for 7th placing overall.
Semi finals & Final stages: After stage 3, positions F1 will play F4 and F2 play F3 in a best of 3 matches in the semi finals.
F5 vs F6 will be the playoff for the 5th and 6th placing overall.
Winners of the semi finals will proceed to the Final, which is best of 3 matches again.
So, there is plenty more volleyball to enjoy !
