Does Krasnodar even want to try to do something?
2016 CEV Cup

GS with 5 aces in 1st set and all OHs of Krasnodar with 0% in attack (Sokolova 0/8, Pasynkova 0/3, Hodunova 0/1)
-
Ushakov taking a time-out after one point in 2nd set and doing a very good imitation of Karpol

GS with 5 aces in 1st set and all OHs of Krasnodar with 0% in attack (Sokolova 0/8, Pasynkova 0/3, Hodunova 0/1)
And they are still candidates for Russian NT This match shows importance of motivation.

Looks like Ushakov's wake-up call had an effect on his players. Uraleva runs the middles as much as possible now and it's the only chance they have with the OHs not doing anything and Malykh being far from her best as well...
-
Why is Galatasaray shouting and pointing towards Kosheleva and the russians scouts behind the court?

If I understood it right they were saying that Kosheleva was showing Gamze's tactical signs to Krasnodar players.
-
She was showing Galatasaray's serving tactics to her team friends.
-
I can't understand how this Khodunova could ever get invited to RUS NT If she is really among the best OHs Russia has these days, the future looks bright for Russia's opponents
-
Whoa Shlyakhovaya was damn lucky to survive this uninjured Without ankle braces she'd probably be out now...
-
Thank you
Matthias,I agree about Khodunova. She doesn't impress me at all, she is doing basically nothing but being blocked. -
Krasnodar's defense is so badly organised, all the time two players look at each other not knowing who takes the ball, take away balls from other players, two players trying both to take the ball etc...
-
Amazing crowd! Galatasaray Fans really built an amazing atmosphere!
-
Pasynkova played a good 4. set (unlike 1. ...). I hope she will finally get into a decent form so that she can be an option for the national team.

Referees
That ball was SOOOO out!!! -
Referees
That ball was SOOOO out!!!and just before the this point,Malykh's ball was clearly out and no touch. Same mistakes for both team.Referees are really terrible today.
-
It's a damn hard job for the referees when they can't trust the line judges because there is no way knowing when they're right and when they're patriotic. And they've been patriotic quite a few times today...
-
you giiiiiiiiirlllll ASLI
Congratss Galatasaray. And I just want to fair play! -
Terrible referees, not because all the stupid decisions they made like Malykh and Centoni's spikes being out but because they didn't show a red card to Ushakov. What else he is supposed to do to get a red card in a match? Really?
Terrible game by Galatasaray in 3 sets and very good game in the other two. Someone must tell them that they should never drop their serve quality and Gamze has to use her middles no matter what. On the other hand, I'm really impressed by Krasnodar's middles being so active.

Sincerely I expected more from Galatasaray. They won so of course they have an advantage but I think that they could have been more focused and cinic and close it 3-1 (or even 3-0). They dominated the game in the first and third but in the Second and fourth they didn't put much effort and Krasnodar didn't do anything special. Now they have to go to Russia and if Kosheleva manages to recover it can be harder.
