  • Waw, excellent result by Belgium! They achieved this without their two main players: setter Kruyner (who signed a contract with Cannes) and opposite Van den Dries (linked to Modena). Kruyner was claimed by the senior team that's preparing for a World Championship Qualification tournament and Van den Dries underwent knee surgery.

  • I have watched all games in Group C in Zagreb and simply couldnt believe with my eyes how team of Netherlands managed to beat France last year on EC and finish 4th. Here they have lost all three games and showed very very poor volley despite they were full squad. Lost all three games, especially easy 3-0 vs Croatia.

Greece came here as total outsiders but won all three games in tie - breaks 3:2 and as biggest surprise going on WC in India. Biggest name was Olympiakos starter Djuric but here playing as opposite. Croatia finished second, pity cause was without IMO one of 5 best players in Europe of this generation Ivan Raic who had 113pts in 7 games on EC. With him doubt Greece could win vs Croatia.

All in all, dont know wtf Holland boys did last 10 months since last EC, this guys are terrible, seems another zero generation form former big volley force. Big mistery i repeat how they finished forth last year on EC, doubt that others could develop so much comparing to them in this short period. :aww:

  • Turkey's junior NT........ yuckkk
I wish they could play better :obey:

  • A very good performance by Poland  And Belgium :) The Netherlands is a dissapointing. Girls did great job, but men...

    The most important 3:
    POLAND-SZCZECIN-VOLLEYBALL

    5th place - Prediction Game - World League 2011 :D

  • good job guys  they follow our junior female team and won without loosing any sets, but most of them played in PLus Liga past season so that expariance was precious

hmmm POland is winning junior WCH every 6 years since 1997 so we have 2009 so it;s time for another win  and all those WCH which "we" won was in Asia and where is this years WCH?? in Asia :super:

congratulation once again, POland is the only european country which will be representet by both Male and female team :cup:

Anyone can support a team that is winning - it takes no courage. But to
stand behind a team to defend a team when it is down and really needs
you, that takes a lot of courage.

  • Only a look at the Polish squad makes you sure there is no way for them to miss the Junior WCH! The squad they have is fantastic for that age, no doubt Poland is going to be among the favorites in India :)

I am very disappointed by our Junior NT.. I so much wanted the factor of being the organizer of the tournament to help us, but I guess that was not enough.. We had Sokolov in the roster, Belgians missing some of their stars, it was meant to happen, but maybe the Belgians were just better.. Anyway, I believe we should have some optimistic views about this generation, we have always come up with some talents to develop!

Nothing surprising in the other pools except for Greece going through! Djuric is a good player indeed, when Greeks can win all their games 3-2, maybe they were simply better prepared than the rest of the teams...
