they don't have Play-offs , right??
I think it is hard to keep playing with good motivation for weak teams nearly end of the season...
Why they don't change the style? just wondering...
Germany - DVL 2010/11

There will be playoffs this season. But only the top 4 teams will be eligible to play. Motivation for the weak teams will be enough i guess. 3 teams will be relegated this season (except VCO because they are the junior NT)
-
..and 3 Teams will promote to DVL right? Can You give the link to the lower League?
-
-
No...the major league is due to be reduced next season, so there will be just two promoted teams from 2nd division (champions of north and south division) ...
2nd divisions can be found at DVL-website too: click
Thanks

Vilsbiburg's setter Lena Möllers suffered an ankle injury during the warm-up for the match last wednesday and will be out for 8 weeks. The setter of Vilsbiburg's 2nd league team Sophia Kozlowski (15 years) will be Nadja Jenzewski's backup for the next few matches.

http://live.volleyball-bundesliga.de/2010/Women/&2131.pdfA round full of surprising results. Dresden (1st in ranking) had to defend a match point from Erfurt (13th in ranking) and just managed to win lucky 17:15 in the end. Münster's big hitters Cutura and Kasperski finally managed to show their true power to beat Wiesbaden surprisingly 3:0. Stuttgart apparently had a complete off day against Hamburg, or maybe they were saving powers for Cup final next week...?

Stuttgart apparently had a complete off day against Hamburg, or maybe they were saving powers for Cup final next week...?We'll have the answer next week... But i can hardly believe that they were doing some weird stuff to "save power". Hamburg has an excellent coach and some quality players. I think other playoff candidates will have some problems with them too.

Hello everyone,
long time reader, first time poster. Lots of surprises this weekend. Exciting match between the SWE Volley Team and Dresden. Great fighting spirit by Erfurt, imho.As far as Stuttgart is concerned, i have to agree with SatanClaus. I, too, can hardly believe, they saved power for the Cup final. I also can´t imagine they had a bad day, but the way i see it, with Hamburg, you never know what to expect. I mean, Hamburg could beat any of the top four teams, but then again lose or play bad against teams you would´ve never expected.

I can't believe that Stuttgart saved power at the time, just bad luck day.
Wake up girls this weekend! want to watch great Pokal Final match
looking forward to watching it on Internet!!
last week, Maren Brinker and Sablina Ross had too much errors...:(
GO Sturtgart :))) -
Dresden's setter Mareen Apitz has fallen ill with mononucleosis and can't play for at least 4 weeks, probably longer
