Somebody needs to explain the reach over rule to the Laola guy
Everytime this happens he either claims it was a net touch or a line fault 
And someone needs to count how many times he says "(setter X) has got options and (attacker Y) is one of them"

Good on USA to close in 4. They just picked up their transition and offense and Russia made a few too many errors.
I hope Germany plays flat out in the finals and USA does the same.

On behalf of the United Kingdom, I apologise for him And the way he pronounces "Harmotto" i already said it, these brit announcers on laola are the worse! and he's constantly calling the wrong player (i.e. "good block by adams," when replay shows the block by the OH…). not to mention, he pronounces MARtinez all the time. if they can pronounce riVEra, roDRIguez, etc., why can't they say marTInez?

It´s quite impressive how many good players USA can have! It will be so difficult for the coach to chose which players he brings to world championship.

When it depends on where the announcer Is from. In USA for ex. Kevin Barnet pronounces MArtinez and some latino guys say MarTInez. So as long as name is correct I don't mind. I personally don't like mixing players up, they say Pricilla Rivera with a spike and she's not even on court
some names are very dif. to pronounce like Dutch names.. one should try to pronounce a name in a correct way, first.. learning the stresses in it deserves an extra appreciation[/quote]as i said, marTInez is not so hard, if you can pronounce riVEra or roDRIguez.
worse are the way they mangle chinese names. i don't know mandarin and the four tones, but i know it's like HWAY RWOCHI (hui ruoqi), not HWEE ROKY, like they often pronounce it. and zhu (in zhu ting) is more like JOO.
and you try to pronounce the tall middle blocker's name, yuan xinyue...

ok just finished US x RUS match.
yes, thompson sets to adams often very bad, so she has to dink a lot. on the other hand, adams incredible blocker!
robinson impressive in serving but not so good in passing/defense. not as impressive as malykh for sure: amazing angles! haven't seen anyone who can slice like that, those sharp angles. russian OH (kutyukova and sherban) also very good.
don't understand why kiraly puts the double sub for one play only then undoes it. weird. at least he is now giving the more instruction instead of telling them to breath.
hildebrand making less stupid errors (like last year's GCC and GP).
would like to see more of faucette and dixon. faucette certainly looks like one of the most athletic of the americans.
