    The other one will be Toray v Okayama, Denso, or Saitama. And that's complicated.


    The only NoSmiler scenario is they have to win both SAGA and Denso or they're out.

    • If they do that, Denso also has to lose one of SAGA or JT. If they win both of those it doesn't matter if they lose to Okayama.
    • If Denso wins any 2 of their 3, it's theirs.
    • If Denso only wins 1 and Saitama wins 2 of 2 (NEC and Hitachi), Saitama goes. (unlikely)
    • If Denso only wins 1 of 3 and Saitama only wins 1 of 2, Denso goes
    • [Edit] But if Denso and Saitama win only one and Okayama wins both of theirs, NoSmilers go

    Two out of the last three matches for Denso Plummer is the only player getting to double figures. That’s even including aces and blocks. They are just so dependent on her right now. So maybe Covid has really affected this team, as we don’t know who had it. This last Part may be speculation but some athletes have had difficulty in other sports after catching it. I am not putting that (speculation) in an article.
