They got a third place finish in the world cup without Sander. Imagine two great OHs gone and we have this...
Losing Russell really screwed things up for USA because he can atleast make a good duo with any decent passing OH alongside him like Muagututia.
Speraw is also probably protecting Jaeschke from injuries. He's the only american OH that actually comes close to Russell's or Sander 's level but unfortunately, he's made of glass.
De Falco made good impressions in club level but surprisingly, he's just mediocre in NT. Maybe with Sander, they can make a better duo or Anderson but that leaves a massive hole with Patch/Ensing as OP.

USA having to serve out of their minds to win a set is just unsustainable. They need to find the balance like how Argentina does even with a small lineup.

Clevenot is here. Tillie Is a good surprise To me in offense. He’s after 2-3 disappointing years where he could not kill a ball. His attack Is now solid, he seems more athletic and powerful. With his killer receiving skills, that is a really strong defensive hitter profile If he keeps up with that standards. Tours volley ball made a good deal it seems.
